Lifeline.
I awake to the sound of knocking.
"Hmm" I groan as I fall out of bed.
"Prim darling, get out of bed" my mother calls from the other side of the door.
"Yes mother" I reply in a far from happy mood.
"And less of the attitude breakfast is on the table waiting for you, I'm off to work don't be late we don't want it to become a habit dear". My mother told me sternly.
I made my bed and made sure everything was perfect and jumped in the shower. As soon as I dried my hair I put my favourite clothes on, my baggy black and white jumper, my shorts, my knee length socks and my brown shoes.
I started to run to the kitchen for my breakfast when…
"Umph" I ran into someone.
He chuckles slightly "Hello Primmy, that excited to see me are we?" He jokes.
"Shut up Pete you wish, I was actually on my way to the kitchen to get some breakfast that mum left, I really hope she left pancakes!"
"Luckily for you I made breakfast for you and yes before you ask yes I made pancakes with syrup and bacon. Gale and Thresh only got porridge so count your self lucky!" He joked.
I giggled a bit "thanks bro I suppose I owe you one?" I questioned with a smile.
"Of course you do sis, but nothing big, just for you to be out of the house from around 4 tonight til 6 ish because Katniss is coming round if you know what I mean" Peeta says while wiggling his eyebrows.
"Okay no need to go in to details" I joke as I playfully punch him in the chest and skipped into the kitchen.
I immediately tucked into my breakfast and devoured my pancakes in record time. I went into my bedroom touched up on my make-up grabbed my bag and my keys, locked up and ran to Pete's car.
"In a rush Prim?" Peeta asked innocently.
I instantly blushed.
Peeta chuckled and drove off.
So I suppose I better tell you all about my family. Well first off there's my mother Sophia, she has beautiful long blonde hair and stormy blue/grey eyes. Then there's my oldest brother is Gale who is 19 and looks nearly the exact same as our father did when he was younger, he has dark brown hair and grey eyes, he's tall too so there's no surprise that he's got a different girl over every week. My other brother Thresh had dark hair, amazing brown eyes and is very tanned, my mother and father adopted him when I was 9, and I don't care if he isn't my actual brother I love him to bits! Then there's Peeta, Peeta and I are twins he has brilliant blue eyes and bleach blonde hair, he's tall and well extremely popular with the girls which he takes great advantage of, right now his 'girl' is Katniss Everdeen who sometimes gets mixed up as Gale's sister as they look very similar. I just hope Peeta isn't going to upset Katniss too much because after all she is one of Gale's best friends. Then finally there's me primrose Hawthorne, I too have brilliant blue eyes and bleach blonde hair, I am reasonably tall for my age not too short and not too tall, my father use to say I was the perfect balance, and not to be vain or anything but I do have my fair share of boys dropping at my feet but there is only one person for me his name…
"Prim. Prim!" Peeta called my name bringing me out of my daze.
