EVER MORE

Kaoru shivered lightly as he stood alone in their room. His heart felt heavy, and his thoughts were clouded.
He found it hard to breathe as he pondered the thought of Hikaru being angry with him.

He sat at their shared desk and staired at his homework he was neglecting to do. But he couldn't bring himself to open it, and do the problems that had been assigned.

Kaoru threw the note book at the wall. None of it mattered if his twin couldn't be there with him to complain about it. He sighed and then flopped onto the bed.

-Why?- He woundered. -Why is Hikaru so mad? I thought he liked Haruhi.-

He burried his face into his pillow and whimpered slightly, like a pained animal. He hated this rare feeling.
The feeling that his twin hated his guts. They've argued before, but nothing was compaired to this.

For hours he laied there, not careing if he cried, until his mind finally decided to sleep.

Hikaru walked slowly into their home. His mind was numb with the thought of betrayl. His Kaoru was pushing him away when they used to always know how the other felt about everything. He had even tried to get information from Kaoru eairlier, but it resulted in the younger getting upset, and wanting to be left alone.

Hikaru paced a bit in the hall outside of their room. He wanted to make it up to Kaoru, and try asking again.
Maybe then, he could talk Kaoru into making him some food or something. He decided to risk it.

When he poked his head in, Hikaru felt his heart skip a beat, then calm when he spotted Kaoru curled into a ball,
huggling his pillow.

Hikaru snuck to his brother's side, and smiled down at him. -Guess I'm forgiven.- He thought as he gently brushed his finger tips over Kaoru's cheek.

Kaoru sturred lightly under his touch and blinked tiredly up at his older twin. As they staired at each other with a tender gaze, they both got the message that they just wanted what was best for the other. The twins smiled at each other, as they fell asleep in a loving embrace, for then they realised that no one could ever sepreate them.

Ever.
