Hinata grinned. She and her team had done this plenty of times before. Naruto's shadow clones would surround the opponent. Then Shino's bugs would render the opponent practically helpless. She would hit him in the chest with her Hyuuga style to knock him out and the job was done. Kiba would often complain about being useless.

This was the third year she and Naruto had been married and Tsunade –Sama had let him on her team, but only because Hinata had insisted on it. Sakura and Lee had also settled down together. Sakura was expecting their first child in a few months. Tis had made them all excited. Hinata could remember overhearing Gai Sensei giving Lee the "New bud of youth" speech. Hinata was looking forward to the day she and Naruto would be parents.

It was time for Hinata's turn. Kiba would hold the man down while Hinata struck him. She switched to the "gentle palm" stance and began to run. Her charka began to gather in her hands. She was inches away from the man's chest and- There was a yell from her husband. Hinata tasted blood. When she looked down she could see that the rogue ninja's hand had past straight through her gut. She coughed "Who-who are you!?" The man smiled, "most people call me the Arm of Steel.. But you won't be calling me anything soon enough…" Hinata felt the arm pushing deeper into her failing body. She smiled as the warm blood dripped down her chin. "That's right." She weezed. She knew it was a matter of minutes before her unruly body gave out. "I won't be calling you anything…because you'll be dead too!" Hinata leaned into Steel Arm so that he could not pull away. She activated the last of her charka. It was just enough to stop his heart. She pressed down hard on his chest and, just as she had predicted. His body failed him. 'Just as mine will in a few minutes…' she thought sadly. She felt herself being pulled from him and closed her eyes as she was layed down on the grass. Were those tears? "Hinata!" She faintly heard Naruto's panicked voice calling to her from above. "Hinata! Look at me! Your going to be alright! Your going to be okay" A drop of water fell on her cheek as she opened her eyes. "She reached up a trembling hand and brushed away his tears. "Don't cry Naruto-Kun…" Her words were becoming harder to make out. Hold in there Hinata-Chan! We'll get you home! Just hold on!" Her eyes began to slide in and out of focus "I'm just sorry we never got to be parents… I was looking forward to it…" His tears began to wash hers away. "Please! Don't leave me!" There was no answer. "Hinata! No!" But it was too late. She had slipped away, beyond his reach.
