Ric walked along the docks. He was miserable, like he had always been lately. It didn't look like he would be with Elizabeth anytime soon. As he was thinking, it started to rain.

"Great, just when I didn't think things could get any worse, it starts to rain on me," Ric muttered to himself.

~It's just one more day~

~No one said~

~There would be rain again~

~Won't blame it on myself, yeah~

~I'll blame it on the weatherman~

~Here I am out on my own again~

He sat down on the bench, with no umbrella and just let himself get soaked. Didn't matter anyways. It wasn't like he was going anywhere where he needed to look good or anything. He'd probably just go home and drink until he passed out. Then he'd wake up and start another miserable day without his wife.

~I was here before~

~I could see your face~

~Only clouds will see~

It was getting cold, he went to his car and started to drive home. He turned on the radio and heard Elizabeth and his song.

~Alone I can hear~

~Hear our song~

~Playing for me again~

~Won't blame it on myself, yeah~

~Just blame it on the weatherman~

He got home and walked into his empty house and got himself a drink and sat down on the couch. He looked around the dark room and then to a picture of him and Elizabeth from when they were happy together. He felt a tear roll down his cheek. He wiped it off and put down the picture and took a sip of his drink.

~Maybe it's too late~

~Maybe it's too late to try again~

~Maybe I can't pray~

~Maybe I can't wait~

~Maybe I can't blame the weatherman~
