KONOHA SCAMS IWA:
STORY OF THE BRIDGE
"Hey, we're sorry that we blew up your bridge but we will rebuild it if you want us to." Tsunade said over the phone.
Tsunade was on the phone with the Tsuchikage of Iwa right now.
"I really don't think we can trust you…" Said the Tsuchikage.
"Oh come on, that was years ago. And we were in a war then, we're allies now right?" Tsunade said.
"I guess…" Drawled the Tsuchikage.
"Good, but you'll have to pay us." Tsunade said.
"What? Shouldn't you be paying us for the bridge?" The Tsuchikage asked.
"Look, do you want the damn bridge built or not?"
"Yes, I want the bridge built."
"Right, then you'll pay us?" Tsunade asked.
"I guess…"
"Good, you send us the money first and then we'll send our most skilled craftsmen out to build the bridge." Tsunade said doodling something in the notebook in front of her.
"Right, we'll send the money right away!" Tsuchikage said.
"That's great! Good bye." Tsunade said and hung up the phone.
'Damn that guy was a push over, I didn't think it would be that easy.' Tsunade thought
-4 days later-
"Tsunade-sama, the money for the bridge has come in." Shizune said waving it in the air.
"Oh, excellent! Know we just have to find someone who will go and build a bridge for us." Tsunade's face then turned thoughtful.
Tsunade snapped out of her thoughts when she heard a knock on the door.
"Come in." Tsunade called.
The door opened to revile a middle-aged man with a knapsack on his back.
"I was told to come here to be greeted." Said the Old man.
"Oh, yes." Tsunade then got up and circled around then man a few times looking him up and down.
"Have you ever built a bridge before?" Tsunade asked.
"No, but I can try." Said the man.
"Good enough." Tsunade said and went to the back of the room and pulled something out of the cabinet. She walked back to the old man and handed him a Konoha head band.
"You are now a Konoha ninja" Tsunade as the old man took the head band.
"…" The old man looked dumfounded.
"Your first mission is to go to Iwagakura and build a bridge. Report back here when you are finished." Tsunade said pushing the sputtering man out the door.
"Good luck." She called and then closed her office door.
"Tsunade-sama, that wasn't very wise." Said Shizune from behind the desk.
"I'm the Hokage, and besides they wanted a bridge, so their going to get a bridge." Tsunade said while shooing Tonton out of the way so she could get to her desk.
"Tsunade-sama…" Shizune groaned.
-7 weeks later-
The door to the Hokage's office opened to revile a tired looking man. Tsunade looked up from here paper work and realized it was the old man she sent off to build the bridge.
"Oh, your back! For your trouble you'll get 20 ryou and a bottle of sake." Tsunade said.
-In Iwagakura-
A butterfly flew towards a construction that looked oddly like a bridge. The bridge was made of only Popsicle sticks, gum, and string. The innocent Butterfly decided to rest on the terrifying construction only for a bit, but when it landed on one of the Popsicle sticks it fell to its death because the bridge had collapsed.
That poor butterfly…
