I hope I didn't get to meet you, for if you weren't there,
I wouldn't have learned how to love…
I hope I didn't get to know you, but if you weren't there,
nobody would have taught me how not to give up, face my fears, and not to run away…
I was so miserable when you hadn't come along,
I wouldn't have learned how to make a step forward,
wouldn't have learned to speak up for those who I care for,
wouldn't have learned to protect those who I love…
And…
You were the most important.
Of all people, you are the one who I lost.
You are gone.
How could I say I learned how to protect?
How could I say I could speak up for those I care for?
How could I say I know how to face my fears?
I hope I didn't push you to come with me,
but if you didn't come along,
I would have learned the lesson of death.
How it feels like…
To just...
Die.
Without even knowing what you were supposed to be.
Not being able to hold destiny's hand…
If only I could turn things to how it used to be.
But then again,
You were smiling.
That smile, the only smile that lightened up my life.
I will shed no tears…
Why?
Because I know you wouldn't be happy.
I know you want me to smile that simple smile…
The smile that gave hope to me… Your smile.
If you weren't there, I would've died a lonely and miserable life…
And I wouldn't have realized to move on
