Title: Jaune Arc Tilts His Head.

He really should have seen something like this coming. I mean, he had signed up for a school that trained elite hunters, so he should have expected everything.

But he really hadn't expected to be thrown off of a cliff for initiation of all things.

His morning hadn't been all that great. To list things off.

He had been woken up early by an overenthusiastic girl.

He had tried to flirt with Snow Angel again and was rejected once more.

He had met somebody new Pyrrha, and had ended up looking like a total fool by not knowing who she had been off the bat, even when she had been on Pumpkin Pete's Marshmallow Flakes!

He was speared through his hoodie to the wall by Pyrrha, apparently she and Weiss were a bit touchy.

And finally, he had been flung off of a cliff. Just great.

His freefall was not getting any more controlled, as he waved his arms uselessly through the air as he continued to plummet to the forest ground.

Looking briefly, he saw a red streak coming towards him, the same spear that had pinned him to the wall this morning! Apparently Pyrrha was really vindictive, trying to off him in the beginning of the test in return for his utter lack of knowledge on her!

Scrambling, Jaune tried to twist and get his shield out, but he couldn't get to his weapons at this speed, not at this angle. So he turned his body to the right, in hopes the spear wouldn't hurt too much.

It didn't actually hurt that much to Jaune, because he stopped feeling pain quite quickly after the spear went through his skull and pierced his brain.

And so, the first casualty of the brutal initiation began. It certainly didn't beat the original time record of one second flat where somebody had decided to take a nap on one of the launch plates and got his head snapped as a result.

But it was the first accidental death. Not that Jaune knew it, of course.

So this here is an idea of something perfectly plausible. Jaune in the air has no access to aura, so he has no defense. No matter what level of Pyrrha's skill, she still wouldn't spear his hoodie if he's struggling while falling. And finally, these tests are quite brutal, as I believe team CRDL would not have survived too many monsters without having met up. We saw quite a few in there, it's just that most characters we see are very skilled.

Result: Pyrrha is down a spear and partner, Weiss keeps walking off from Ruby, maybe even runs into the body, Ozpin obviously sees the whole thing with his cameras, the giant deathstalker is not encountered, a three-man team exists(possible for a short while), and we have lost our comedy relief. Woohoo.

On that note, can somebody try and continue this?
