-1960-

"Alright guys," Alfred, the human personification of America, said at the world meeting in his loud, obnoxious voice. "As you know, one of my super amazing companies, Ryan Industries, built a totally amazing underwater city called 'Rapture.' I think it's about time we all go and check this place out for ourselves." The room filled with the sounds of mumbling voices by the rest of the personified nations. "Alfred that is a completely stupid idea. It was a stupid idea to build a city underwater anyways. There is no way in hell that I or anyone else are going down there." Arthur said, speaking up over the rest of the room.

Arthur was always bitter towards Alfred. After all, Arthur was the human personification of England and still held a grudge towards Alfred for leaving him in the Revolutionary War. "If there is vodka involved then it sounds good to me." Ivan, the Russian, said. "I think it's a great idea! Can we Ludwig? Please?" Said Feliciano, or Italy, begging Ludwig, the human manifestation of Germany. Before Ludwig could answer, the doors swung open. Kiku ran in the room, breathing heavily. "Konichiwa. I am sorry I am late. I had a very important discussion with my boss." the Japanese man said after finally catching his breath.

"It's okay. We were just talking about going to visit the great underwater city, Rapture." Francis, the Frenchman, got up from his seat and took a single rose from the boquet sitting on the endtable. "I personally think it's a great idea. I heard there are plenty of beautiful women. And an underwater city is incredibly romantic." he said, leaning against Yao's seat. Yao pushed him away. "You Frenchmen are so creepy, aru!" the Chinese man said. "Well aren't you going to get Matthew's opinion?" Francis said, completely ignoring Yao. "Me? Oh no, I don't really know. I'll just hear what everyone else has to say about it and then you can come back to me." replied the Canadian, holding his little polar bear, Kumajiro.

"How about we take a vote? If the majority says yes, we all go. If the majority says no, we don't. And if the majority says yes and someone still refuses then we take away their black magic crap and shave their eyebrows." Alfred said, obviously aiming his words toward the bushy-browed Brit. "Ha ha, very cute." Arthur scoffed. Alfred drew a chart on the board with two sections. One said "agree" and the other said "oppose". "Okay the hero goes first! And I say agree!" Alfred said with a grin on his face as he made a tally mark on the "agree" side. "I however oppose." Arthur said with narrow eyes. Alfred glared at him and put a tally mark on the "oppose" side.

"I agree! It sounds like fun!" said Feliciano. "What about you, Ludwig?" Feliciano said to Ludwug with pleading eyes. "Ja, I guess I agree." Ludwig said with a sigh. "I agree." Francis said. "Well if Ludwig and Feliciano agree then I guess I should, too." Kiku said. "Is there vodka?" Ivan asked. "Yes, there are lots of bars where you can purchase as much vodka as you want." Alfred replied. "Then I agree." he said with a sweet smile. "I agree." Yao said. "Um well... I guess I agree." Matthew said, petting Kumajiro.

"Okay, so one, Arthur, against the rest of us seven." Arthur glared at Alfred. "Um not to be rude or anything, but don't you mean eight?" said Matthew. "Huh?" Alfred looked over to see Matthew. "Oh hey Matthew! When did you get here?" Alfred waved. Francis rubbed Matthew's back in a comforting manner. "Hang in there." Matthew's face was clearly upset. "Oh dear God do I have to go?" Arthur said. "Don't worry Artie," Alfred swung an arm over Arthur's shoulder. "It'll be fun!" Alfred said with a grin. "Yes, but this all just seems fairly dangerous to me..."
