-1Kataiko lay in the hospital bed and moaned loudly. She had been in labor for several hours in giving birth to her first child. She had been on bed rest for the entire month prior due to the stress of losing her husband and the father of this child.

"Just one more push Kataiko." the doctor said.

Tsukiko squeezed her hand, "You're doing great Kataiko. You can do it."

She nodded and took a deep breath and prepared to push again. "Ahhhhh!"

A few moments later the room was filled with the sound of the wailing of the newborn. Kataiko leaned back exhausted but happy. She had given birth to a healthy child, well there was nothing wrong with the baby's lungs that was for sure.

"Congratulations," The doctor said as he cleaned off the child. "you have a fine son."

"you hear that Kataiko?"

"Yeah." She grinned widely, waiting impatiently for the doctor to let her have her new son.

"I-It's bad that he can't be here to see this." Tsukiko whispered sadly.

"I know," Kataiko said as the child was laid in her arms. "his father would be so proud." She cooed over the baby.

"I'm so glad you were able to find some peace out of all this." Tsukiko said as she reached out and brushed her fingers gently over the small dark patch of hair on the newborn's head.

"My little one here was his last gift to me."

Tsukiko couldn't keep herself from smiling "so shall I go give the good news to the others?"

Kataiko nodded.

Tsukiko started for the door then stopped to ask, "what's his name?"

"He'll be named for his father."

Tsukiko nodded, "Uchiha Sasuke."

Kataiko woke up screaming. "Oh God!" She was covered in cold sweat and shaking.

"Hey what's the problem this time? Another nightmare huh?" Tsukiko smirked from across the campfire.

"This time it's your fault!"

"Hush you'll wake the others. And why is it my fault?"

"you put that idea in my head!"

"Shh! You'll wake him!" Tsukiko motioned Kankuro. He had been injured during the course of the mission they were on and now he slept with his head in Tsukiko's lap. "And anyway all I did was make a little comment."

"I'll kill you!" She growled.

Tsukiko was saved though by Gaara's return to their campsite. "I heard screaming. What happened?"

"She had another nightmare about dear Sasuke."

"Oh Gaara! It was horrible! Just hold me and make those images go away!"

Tsukiko smirked. She'd have to tell Kiken about this in the morning. But at the moment she went back to fussing over the bandages on Kankuro's arm and wondering about what had actually happened in the dream.
