"C'mon, Yacker." Eddie insists, grabbing her arm and pulling her so she's facing him. "Who is he and why do you have such a problem with him?"

Patricia sighs. She really didn't want to tell him. Who Rene Zeldman really was. Who Rufus Zeno is. What he did to her. But he was gone now, to where, she's not sure.

"I told you." She replies. "He's not a good guy."

"Yes, I know that." The American rolls his eyes, not releasing her arm (not that he would want to). "But what did he do?"

She didn't necessarily have to tell him everything…

"You really want to know?" she double-checks. She's responded with an eager nod that somehow reminds her of a puppy or something. "Fine."

She—reluctantly—pulls free from his grasp and sits down on the nearby couch, waving for him to do the same. He slowly sits next to her, hands folded together. "So what happened?"

She heaves another sigh before looking up at him, straight in the eye. "He kidnapped me last year, okay?"

"What?" Eddie jumps to his feet, outraged. "He kidnapped you?"

"Yes, he kidnapped me, calm down." Patricia is up at this point, crossing her arms. "It's not that big a deal, okay?"

"Not that big a deal?" he was full-blown screaming. "He kidnapped you! Took you away! What if you never got back?" he becomes softer and softer as he continues to speak. "What if I never got to meet you…"

"I'm here now, and that's all that matters, okay?" she reaches out to touch his arm, trying her best to comfort him. "It's over now, alright? Jerome is back. I'm back." She pulls him down to sit next to her on the couch in their previous spots as he nods, trying to assure himself.

"Yeah." He murmurs, staring at the coffee table, in a daze. "Okay." He snaps out of it and looks over to his girlfriend, pulling her into a one armed hug. "Don't get kidnapped again, okay?"

She relaxes and rests her head on his chest. "I won't." she promises.

He lays a single kiss on the top of her head and lets her go, standing up abruptly. "Now, c'mon." he gives that infamous half-grin of his. "Let's go get something to eat."

She smiles up at him and gets to her feet, nodding and following him to the nearby kitchen, ready to make the meal of the century.

A/N: so more Peddie for you. I hope you enjoy. Just a little thing, idk, I like it. I'm sorry if it's too short or if the ending's too rushed. I hope you like it.

I don't own House of Anubis.
