When Nakano Kaho went to work her shift at the theatre, she had expected it to be a pretty usual night. The new movie had been released a while ago and it was a week night, so there wouldn't be the swarm of little girls and parents like there was when it first came out. And to top it off it was getting pretty late. Looking back on it, when has anything you've said stuck to your expectations? However, even with that logic, she certainly hadn't expected to see this of all scenarios. Her eyes widened and started blinking, as if she believed the image would disappear if she blinked fast enough. No, it was just a mind trick!
...*pinch*
Yep, definitely dreaming. She had to be! There was no other explanation as to why the Kuroba Kaito was actually here, at her workplace, in line to get his tickets for a movie, with a little girl that looked close to burying herself underground from embarassment to be wearing a princess costume, while-

why on earth is he wearing a gown?
of all things! A gown! He doesn't even look flustered about it!
Well, then again it isn't like he hasn't been shown wearing feminine clothing during his performances-
Said gown clad magician cleared his throat, knocking the dazed worker out of her stupor. She shook herself and returned to being professional, well, professional as she could get without staring.
"Right, er, what will it be today?" As the celebrity was about to speak, a nudge from the girl he was with-his daughter, maybe? They certaintly looked alike- brought his confused look down to meet an adorable pout aimed at the crossdressing magician. Rolling his eyes he blinked his makeup covered eyelids before turning back to Kaho. He radiated a grin at her that left her starstruck, nevermind the fact he was a wig from being a member of her same sex.
"Two tickets for Cinderella, please." He flicked his wrist and offered her a lily. Kaho didn't even bother asking where he kept it, just nodded, albeit dazed, and while she was getting them their tickets, couldn't help but to ask the question that was clawing at her tongue.
"So...any reason why you're dressed like that tonight?" The magician didn't seem to mind the inquiry and answered almost right away, with no hint he was embarrassed at all.
"Well, she was embarrassed about wearing her Cinderella costume to the movies, and I didn't like that." Kaho nodded slowly, and handed them their tickets. With no more than a thanks, the two princesses walked off to the theatre, getting more stares than a goose that can bark along the way.
Himari was not going to believe this.
This was inspired by this one picture I saw on Facebook, and it was about an uncle who dressed up in a princess dress so that his niece wouldn't be so embarrassed. Right away I pictured Kaito doing this, which then made me think of the others dong this, and the demands for a fanfction to be written was too high to be ignored.
