Author's Note: So, I just decided to write my own Kasumi x Kokoro story. Cuz...why not? Let's mix it up a little? Hehe! Anyways, enjoy! Sorry it's so short.
Kokoro sits at an empty shrine one late afternoon. The sun is setting and sakura petals are scattering from the wind. No one else is around but her. She did not feel like training today nor go anywhere. Why? Cause she made her decision to let her Kasumi-sempai go. To marry the one she loves, Ayane. The problem is: Kokoro is in love with the ginger. She loves her more than Ayane. More than anyone. But...from what she can see...Ayane deserves her more.
And so, here she is, on Kasumi's big day. She didn't come to the wedding, for it would only hurt the geisha even more. Although, there are countless times when Kokoro saved Kasumi's life, the raven haired girl still believes that Ayane and Kasumi deserve each other.
However, just then she thinks it's over, big strong wind blows, making the geisha shut her eyes and raise her hand to keep the petals from hitting her face. When she opens them, her eyes widen to see none other than Kasumi...still in her wedding dress. But...why? Kasumi was supposed to be...
"I did what I had to do," the ginger says.
"Sempai..." Kokoro says quietly.
"I realized...I just can't live without you," Kasumi continues. "You mean more to me than anyone in the world."
Kokoro looks at her with small tears in her eyes. She knows Kasumi means it, but the fact that she's doing it for her is just...
"You shouldn't be here..." she whispers.
"I know you think we can't be together," Kasumi says with a serious tone in her voice. "But...can't you at least let me make my own decisions? I know there will be risks, but...I want to face them with you."
The ginger reaches her hand over to caress the geisha's cheek. "I love you...Kokoro-chan..."
Kokoro's heart beats rapidly while she blushes, but is also shedding a couple tears. She is so happy that her sempai came to see her and confess her love to her.
"Aren't you...going to say something?" Kasumi questions.
Kokoro sniffles as she starts to cry. "Thank you...Kasumi-sempai. I love you too!"
The raven haired girl leans in to kiss the ginger. Kasumi immediately returns it while wrapping her arms around the raven haired girl. Both of them found their happiness and love altogether. And none of them could let go of each other. They wish this moment could last forever.
