As he watched the phone ring, and ring, and ring, Atobe knew what they said was true.

Jiroh was the worst secretary ever.

He didn't answer the phone, he never took messages, he never passed on packages, and Atobe had long learnt that if he ever sent him on an errand, he'd get a phone call an hour later from a random department telling him to come retrieve his secretary, who was napping on the fax machine/conference table/manager's desk.

Sighing, Atobe strolled out of his office and perched on the edge of Jiroh's desk, before picking up the ringing phone and saying, "Atobe Keigo."

It was just an average business call, but it was stuff he needed to hear! After a brief conversation he hung up, and turned to see Jiroh sleepily waking up.

"Atobe…what are you-ah! No!"

Atobe blinked at the blond, and saw he was staring mournfully at the computer screen.

"I lost at pinball." Jiroh explained sadly, and whilst looking at the screen Atobe noticed an email pop up in the corner titled 'Atobe-urgent news'. He watched as Jiroh quickly quit the email and restarted his game.

"Jiroh…"

The blond didn't look away from the screen, merely replied, "Yeah?"

"You know, you're meant to…never mind."

He went to return to his office, but Jiroh's voice caused him to halt.

"Hey, wanna grab some lunch?"

Atobe rose an eyebrow at him. "Jiroh, lunch was 3 hours ago."

Jiroh blinked them mumbled, "Oh…I'm hungry…"

Glancing at his office, Atobe could clearly see the stack of paperwork, all of which were due tomorrow, first thing, and really, it'd be highly irresponsible of him to…

Screw it.

"Want to grab some sushi at the new place down the road?"

Jiroh's eyes widened and he grinned. "Yeah! But wait…don't we knock off in an hour?"

Atobe shrugged. "No one has to know…"

"Awesome! Sushi!!"

Watching as Jiroh bounded out from his desk and down the corridor, calling for Atobe to hurry up, he realised that he knew Jiroh was the possibly the worst secretary ever.

He just couldn't bring himself to care.
