# 001: The Shape Shifter
It Started on a seemingly normal day, Kenai was putting his school supplies in his bookbag getting ready for another boring day at "Brooklyn Technical High School." "Dylan!" Mother said her voice filling the tower through it's speakers, " You're gonna be late!" He put his mask in his bookbag and threw on his hoodie. "Alright I'm done!" Dylan took the elevator downstairs and headed to the front door hoping to see his cousin Egypt waiting for him. " Love you son" Dylan looked at the hologram, "Love you too!" Lo and behold Egypt was outside waiting for him while texting on her phone. "Alright." She said, " Did you forget anything? " Dylan shook his head, "No I'm pretty sure I didn't." They began to walk to the corner where the metro they took was at. "You think he's really coming back?" Egypt looked at Dylan with a nervous expression, " Doubt it, I mean he disappeared five months ago Nova corps searched all over our solar system with no luck. " They were talking about Thanos he was seen the day of the collision which was a cause for concern seeing as the skrulls went on killing sprees using it as a distraction to create his... "Balance." He pulled out his mask, " Tek gave my suit a couple upgrades and I'm improving on actually fighting hand to hand. "
They left the old ruined tower that Dylan and his friends lived in.
The mask was black with white eyes. "Spider-Man rip off." Dylan looked at Egypt, "Huh? What was that? 'thanks for saving people and stopping robberies on multiple occasions Spidey?' Oh you're very welcome cousin!" As you can tell Dylan wasn't normal, he was homeless for a period of time and stumbled onto this tower he found a couple of people working on some suits and they had Dylan join. Dylan went by the codename of "Spider-Man" his suit gave him enhanced strength, and reflexes, and had these webs shoot out of his web shooters which got everywhere his gloves also allowed him to stick to walls and other surfaces. The public always called him a "poser" and a "fake". He wasnt the real Spider-Man and they hated him. I guess you can say their ride on the metro was bumpy they had to sit on a hot old bus with complete strangers and Dylan had to fend off an evil grandma. So everything was normal for about 20 minutes up until the point where an old lady had a gun to the drivers head. Dylan sat in between a couple of people and put on his mask and gloves, he didn't have time for the entire suit. He then made a web ball throwing it at the lady's gut expecting her to fall...which didn't happen. Instead the lady ran up to him and sucker punched him square in the face. "Cheap shot!" Dylan jumped sticking to the roof of the metro bus and started kicking the lady repeatedly. " what are you! " The grandma grabbed his foot and threw him out the window. "I am a skrull" The woman's face began to change into that of green man's. "I know about skrulls! You were aliens that worked for that purple dude!" The man turned around to see Dylan back and unscathed, he tackled the man and threw him out the window soon after jumping after him.
"Pretty sure you guys tried to rob a bank too." He punched the skrull in the face and knocked him out. Dylan stood over the man as the Police pulled up, "Two birds one stone i guess."
He turned to the officers, they both bumped into him on purpose. "Wow." Dylan thought, "Everyone really hates me..." He swung off picked up Egypt and swung to school.
