Derek yelled- "Hey Miles check this out!"
He was siting at the computer
Derek- "This is a WEIRD email!"
Jess IM'd Did you get that weird email?
Derek Yah, the one talking about rookies?
Jaye That's the one.
Laura What does it mean?
Miles yelled- "What are you talking about?"
But Derek wasn't there by the time Miles got to the computer room, and the computer had turned itself off.

At the same moment, Jaye, Tom, Laura, Jess and Matt vanished in the same way.

Derek shouted- "Hello? HELLO?!?"
"Hi," said a large crab. "My name is Crabmon."
Derek had appeared sitting in a tree, ten feet off the ground.
Crabmon- "We should go find your friends."
Derek- "Um, okay. Let me get out of the tree first huh?"
Then he jumped out of the tree.
Derek said, not quite sure he was fully sane- "Lead on little guy."

Jess found herself siting in a rocky plain. She quickly jumped up and started looking around frantically.
Jess shouted- "HELLO?!?! Is any one there?"
"Hello, I'm right here," said a small cat looking rock. "My name is Gotsumon."
Jess exclaimed- "You're a stone cat!!!!!"
Gotsumon explained- "No, I'm a Digimon. We should find your friends."
Jess- "Um, OK."

Jaye looked around. She saw a LOT of sand and cacti.
Jaye- "A DESERT?!?!"
"Yes, the Grand Desert," said a waist high cactus.
Jaye half yelled- "A Talking CACTUS!?!?"
"My name is Palmon. I'm a Digimon.We need to find your friends."
Jaye asked- "Friends?"
Palmon- "Yes, please follow me."
Jaye- "Alright..."
