It's been seven months since I started my relationship with Scorpius Malfoy, I had liked him for years and he finally noticed me and asked me on a date. We have been keeping it quiet that is up until now, I'm going to show him I'm not ashamed of our relationship; that's why before the start of the quidditch match between Gryffindor and Slytherin I will show everyone we are together.
I'm Gryffindor's seeker, the best one since my father was on the team. Scorpius is the captain and star chaser of the Slytherin team, we have beaten them every year since me and my brothers James and Albus joined the team. My cousins Fred, Hugo and Lucy are also part of the team. We walked out onto the pitch, we faced the Slytherin team, glaring at one another, now was my chance; I walked confidently to Scorpius and kissed him. He didn't respond the way I expected him to, he pushed me away glaring at me.
"What the hell Potter!" he roared. "Scorpius its fine we can tell people now I'm fed up of hiding this" I pointed to us both. "What are you talking about 'us' there is no us, you think I would ever be with someone who is a Gryffindor and a Potter. You must be mental." He smirked at me, the Slytherin team were laughing behind him. "Lily, what is going on?" James asked me. "We have been dating for seven months" I screamed. "You told me you loved me!" "Love you" he echoed "are you ok Potter, my girlfriend is over there in the stands she is the one I love. Not you." He hissed. I slapped him hard across his face "stay away from me" I spat.
"COME ON, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR! Let's start this game"
I has been the target the entire game, bludgers were hitting me one after another. I wasn't concentrating, James and Fred were trying to protect me but the bludgers still hit me. Zooming away from them, I went high into the air, I couldn't see a thing; I just needed to stay up high and cry, why would he do this to me? A bludger came zooming at my face, knocking me backwards off my broom; I went downwards hitting the goalposts on my way down.
Four weeks later was the funeral of Lily Luna Potter. Scorpius Malfoy was to blame by all her family, he had explained how they had been together and he had lied about not loving her. She was the best thing that had ever happened to him and burying her that day was heartbreaking and it had killed him.
