Alex Rider
Suddenly there was a terrible explosion and the ground rocked from beneath Alex's feet. Rocks and dust rained down upon him as he looked into the glare of the sun, struggling to breathe. He stumbled across the sandy path, looking left and right, to make sure he was not being followed by the monster who had started this all.
He heard someone scream in the distance and winced at the animal sound of it. That was it this was the last mission he would ever do for Alan Blunt and MI6, too much had happened to ever let him be normal again.
As he was thinking this, a hand grabbed onto his foot and Alex jumped in surprise. He had thought himself to be the only one left alive after the bomb had exploded. He crouched down towards the body "hello, hello are you alright?" he murmured to the poor man, there was no answer. Again Alex tried to find a sign of life from the man until he saw the hand drop away from his body and lie still against the cold, hard floor. Alex didn't know what to do now- everything that had been taught to him in the army with Wolf, and his life at MI6 had gone out of his head. He was clueless, and in a normal situation this wouldn't have worried him so much, but out here in dangerous territory this was not good.
All of a sudden Alex felt a blow to the head as he was thrown to the floor, by none other than the monster who had started all this in the first place. Alex got up again as quickly as he could and turned to get rid of the man who had made all these men die and got Alex here in the first place.
Just at that minute a siren started to go off and Alex saw the walls around him start to go up. He saw a figure come towards him and braced himself for what was going to happen next. "Well done Alex I think in the spirit of things you did very well in the simulator, however I wish you had told someone before you went in there, people do tend to disappear in it." murmured Alan Blunt.
