Why Did You Leave Me?
For almost sixteen years you have left me all alone! I have watched " our" daughter grow up without a father! Oh, Joseph.....why? Oh, Joseph....... You should see our daughter! She has grown up to be such a beautiful girl! Last time you saw her she was only a week old! Our Cho has grown up into such a beautiful young lady! But still......You left me alone to take care of her! Why on earth did you leave me?

" I do." Joseph McGonnagal said to his bride on a snowy winter day. " And I do too!" Mai Chang replied. The couple kissed as a cool winter breeze swept through the bride's dark hair. Her slanted deep brown eyes looked up at his. " You promise me you'll never leave me, Joseph?" She whispered to him," Mai, I will never leave you ever!" And then they went on kissing all through the dark sunset.

My little baby! Mai Chang thought as she looked through the rain to see if her husband had come back yet. For a week now he had been gone. Her small brown eyed wonder of a girl sighed softly and then fell to sleep in Mai's lap. Her baby still didn't have a name. She was waiting to see if Joseph wanted to name her instead. But he never came back. Just then a beautiful butterfly landed on the little girl's nose and flapped it's wings for takeoff again. The little girl giggled. Oh! Mai thought. She hadn't heard a peep out of her since she was born. Then a name popped into her mind. " Cho" She whispered and then heard another giggle from her daughter. " Cho Chang!" The mother squealed happily with her daughter Cho.

The bus stood infront of the Chang's house as it let the small Cho out of it. Being seven years old and the only person in her whole grade who didn't have a father
