Sabrina stared at herself in the mirror. 'How could this happen to ME' she thought. 'Why ME?' Wondering why she was staring at herself? Well, it started out like an ordinary day…
"So, Sabrina, what are you gonna do today?" Noah asked her.
Sabrina replied, "Nothing much…Say, have you seen my Spell-Book, I haven't…" She trailed off.
"No, why?" Noah responded.
"No reason, I guess…just that in the wrong hands it could be dangerous…" Sabrina scratched the back of her head. "Where did I put that Spell-Book?"
"I gotta go. See ya later, 'Brina," Noah said.
"Mm-hmm…" Sabrina said, still searching for her Spell-Book. Then she realized one thing… "Oh, my gosh!" Her eyes widened in fear. She knew, just KNEW one of the guys had her book.
Sabrina ran faster than anything out to the dock. When she started to yell at the boys…Boys meaning, Duncan, Geoff, and some other dudes Sabrina hated, this is what came out:
"HEE-HAW! HAW HEEHAW!" Sabrina quickly clamped a hand on her mouth.
Duncan started to laugh. "Serves you right…I wouldn't look in the mirror if I were you, Fairy-Girl."
Sabrina wanted to shout 'You'll be sorry about this!' but all that came out was, "HAAWW! HEEHAWWWW!"
The rest of the boys started to laugh harder. Sabrina's eyes grew hot with tears and ran off. She ran into the girls' bathroom and then gasped. Not only had her voice been altered, but her ears as well. Standing from her head were two, long, black-furred donkey ears. A tail had also grown from the base of her spine.
The tears flowed harder now. She wanted to scream out but all she could do was bray. She ran out of the bedroom and into the girls' cabin. She curled up into a little ball and sobbed, her ears and tail quivering. She didn't hear someone knock at the door.
