My Heart Has Stopped For You
This is a poem I wrote from the point of view of FANG from the Maximum Ride Series, the book...FANG =) These are the things I think were going through his mind and his heart when everything happened. Hope you like it!
My heart has stopped for you
My heart has skipped its beat
My heart gave up the fight
For you and I to meet
I had to leave the Flock
There was no other choice
The time has come and gone
For me to run my course
I love now, and I always will
Please don't give up fighting
I have to leave, this time for good
And never to return
Don't follow me
Don't cry for me
I'm already gone.
