I don't own Naruto
The darkness just swept around the room filling the space between the pitch black walls. The only light was coming from the shojo screen, a candle concealed behind it. There was something in the room, something living, something moving, something was awake. Most would think the person locked behing the shojo screen would sulk, that she would curl up in a corner and sit there, staring into the darkness from a spot out of reach of the muffled candle light. She would stand in the center of the room and twirl, moving her hands through various positions, her hair tangled after days of unbrushing. Suddenly the creak of a door swinging opend eccoed down the long hall to her room, amplified on the way, swiftly she sat down in the corner and curled up into a ball, just as was expected of her. Soon she heard footsteps, they walked into the room and stopped. The shojo screen slid open, revealing a young man with black hair wearing a mask with an orange spiral winding around to stop at the one hole over his right eye. He walked into the room with a tray of food and a candle. Setting the tray on the floor he sat down beside it declairing "Tobi is a good boy!"

"I know Tobi, I know." The young woman quietly moved to sid beside the man, "Any news from Konoha?" She asked him, pouring two glasses of tea.

"Tobi cannot tell you," He said as if he was saddened by that fact.

She smiled, "I know Tobi, it's ok." Watching him as he visibly cheered up, "Here," she said handing him some tea. Looking down at her own steaming cup as he shifted his mask slightly to let him drink from his own cup yet sill hide his face. "So what have you been doing lately?"

"I've been running errands all day," Tobi told her sadly, "And taking care of you of course."

"Well thank you for remembering I exist." She told him sweetly and started eating some of the rice balls Tobi brought with him. Tobi opened his mouth as if to say something but was cut off by the door squeaking open once more. Suddenly a shadow appeared on the scree.

"I wonder what this room's for." A familiar voice remarked.
