-Set after Series Five-

"Emily, comms are still down. I'm going to get my phone." Matt called, lifting the tip of his finger from the earpiece in his ear. Emily quickly turned around, nodded and disapered around the corner after the team.

Matt sighed heavily, turning on his heel to be met with the dark dimmed out cooridor. He started to jog, his feet sliding along the hard floor. Matt's breathing started to quicken up as he came to a stop, something was moving in the shadow's. He swallowed slowly, Matt watched as a dusty limping figure moved from the shadow's however he tried to deny it he knew he was staring back at himself. Only he was injured and telling him to go back, and Matt knew exactly where he had to go back.

"Matt, those dough balls really didn't agree with me." Emily groaned, almost stumbling into Jess's flat. Matt's eyebrows shot up as he watched the Victorain turned dinosaur hunter bolt towards the bathroom.

"Nice one Matt." Connor grinned, kicking his shoes off as he moved into the front room and along the lamnet flooring. "You turned Emily into a vampire, she dislikes garlic."

"Funny, Connor." Matt sighed, rolling his eyes. He turned and kicked off his shoes, placing them down onto the mat as his eyes watched five sets of shoes walk past his head.

"Connor." Jenny laughed, she had missed Connor and his quick remarks over the years. "I'm sure Emily isn't a vampire that dislikes garlic." she smiled and felt Danny remove her jacket from her shoulders.

"Don't say that, of course she is." Connor grinned, bolting towards the kitchen. Jenny twisted her head to follow Connor's running and laughed as he pulled open the fridge for garlic.

Danny grinned, placing Jenny's coat over the stair banister. "Don't worry Jen, Connor will get over it." he smiled, gently placing his hands onto Jenny's shoulders.

"When are you two actually going to get together?" Becker asked, sitting himself down onto the sofa. He lifted his feet, placing them onto Jess's coffee table.

Jenny swallowed and looked towards Abby and Connor who had disapered into the kitchen. "Not after Nick and Michael." she blinked a smile at Danny's fingers tracing over her shoulders gently.

"It's okay, Jen." Danny smiled warmly, placing a gentle kiss on her already red cheek.

"Becker, feet off." Jess laughed, swatting Becker's feet with the newspaper she had picked off of the floor on the way in.

Matt sighed as he looked around the room, the team had grown bigger and better. Himself, Emily, Becker, Jess, Connor, Abby, Danny and Jenny. The perfect team and Matt had them in his hands, he lead a team of brillance. Matt slid away from the team, behind a cooridor and down into the garden. He pulled open the back door, gently shutting it behind him. He didn't want all the secrecy and he might need Connor's help on what he was trying to find, gently he took half of a marbel stone gem from his pocket and stared down at it. He glanced upwards, at the team through the kitchen windows. Laughing and joking. This was the beginning of a whole new truth.
