Dominique Gabrielle Weasley was very bored. That was just what happened in History of Magic. Every other day she had to endure an hour and a half of the old ghost droning on and on about goblin wars and giant rebellions. Or was it giant wars and goblin rebellions? Either way, it bored her beyond death.

She looked over at her cousin Lucy, who was listening intently and scribbling down notes on the weathered parchment. How was that even possible? To listen and like History of Magic while a dead person teaches? I guess that's what happens when Percy Weasley is your father. She sighed. She needed to stop this. She would start with approach one: being distracted. She brought out her favorite book: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. She loved learning about the unicorns and phoenixes that lived in her world. Care of Magical Creatures was her favorite class. About 20 seconds into the werewolf's chapter she heard Binns say: "WEASLEY! PAY ATTENTION!" Lucy looked up panicked(her last name was Weasley too) but she relaxed when she realized it was Dominique in trouble.

She sighed again and reluctantly put the book away. It was time for approach two: communicate with classmates. Since Lucy seemed too busy to talk with her she looked over to Caleb Macmillan. She took out her ink and wrote;

Soooo bored!

He replied:

Ditto

So she wrote:

Ugghhhh Professor Binns is so boring. They should have fired him a loooooong time ago. Who cares if he was there? No one does because he's so dull! WHY doesn't McGonagall realize he's such a -

"Miss Weasley can you please handover that segment of parchment?" I hadn't finished my thought, but I was pretty sure he would know that the unfinished thought wasn't something flattering. He read the paper. "I should be fired should I? Because I'm so dull? Detention. You too Mr. Macmillan." She gave Caleb a glance that said: I'm so sorry! He smiled.

I ran through the boredom approaches cousin James had taught me. Approach three was to try to get out of class. She raised her hand.

"Professor I'm not feeling well."

"Nice try, Weasley. You're not getting out of class. I should give you another detention. His transparent eyes glared at her. She was getting desperate. It was time for approach four:

Cause as much mayhem as possible.
