Getting to see my best friend again- Chapter One

"Are you getting excited to see Chord again?" my little sister Katie asked.

"I sure am," I said. "I know we Skype each other and talk to each other on the phone but I need to see him in person."

Sorry, you must be wondering who I am. My name is Jordana Howard. I have been best friends with Chord Overstreet since we were babies. My parents and his parents are best friends. We were also neighbors and both raised on farms. We graduated high school in 2007. Since we loved to perform, we moved to LA. Well, we moved with my older sister Jennifer and his older brother Nash. Our parents wanted chaperones. After two unsuccessful years, Chord started his acting career on a web series called "Private." He was also on "ICarly" (for a few minutes). I got guest spots on "Chuck" , "Kim Possible" (voice), "ER" and many more. I guess you could say that it was a start for me. In 2010, Chord was offered the role of Sam Evans on "GLEE". I was so happy for him. That's when I booked "Hawaii Five-0". I moved to Hawaii. Chord and I Skyped and talked on the phone but I need to see him again. I was told by Alex, Scott and the producers to take time off so I was doing just that. And I'm on the phone talking to my sisters.

"He's been talking about you," Katie said. "At least that's what Charity, Skye and Harmony have been saying."

"Nash and Summer have said the same thing," Jen said, since Katie had me on speakerphone.

"Well," I said. "I'm at the airport. I should be at LAX in about five hours."

"Okay," Jen said. "Just text us when you get here. Katie and I can't wait to see you."

"I can't wait to see you two either," I said. "It's been too long."

We hung up. I boarded my plane and sat down.

-Five Hours Later-

The plane landed at LAX. I texted my sisters and went to find them. I heard them calling my name.

"Jordy!" Jen and Katie said.

"Jen! Katie!" I said.

I hugged my sisters. We walked to Jen's car.

"So how long are you home for?" Katie asked.

"They have given me three weeks off," I said. "They are saying that my character is on an undercover mission. When I get back, Ariana am going to be talking to Steve about it."

"Were Ariana and Billy together?" Katie asked.

I nodded. We drove to our apartment. Nash and Summer were there waiting for us. I should tell you Jen and Nash are dating. They have been since 2005 (they were best friends first). Nash and Summer came over to me as soon as I put my bag down.

"Jordana," Nash said. "It's great to finally see you."

"Aw, Nash," I said. "Did you miss me?"

"Sure did," he said. "You are like my little sister."

I smiled at him as I hugged Summer.

"Chord is going to be so happy you're home," she said, breaking the hug.

"I'm only home for three weeks," I said. "Everyone said I work too hard and don't take breaks when I need them."

"That's my sister for you," Katie said.

I laughed. "So what are we going to do?"

"We are going to see Chord perform at the House of Blues," Jen said. "He doesn't know that you are home."

"Can't wait," I said. "When are we going?"

"In ten minutes," Katie said.

I picked up my bag and ran to my room (Jen kept my room for me). I was going to see Chord. I picked an outfit out of my bag: my Needle Lace shell tank top, Shining Star Galaxy Print Skirt, hair bow, my blue stiletto heels and my Alexander McQueen Butterfly Skull ring. I took my Polka Dot iPhone case and put it on my phone. I went back to the living room.

"You look amazing," Katie said.

"Thanks," I said. "Are we ready to go?"

The five of us went to our cars and we drove to the House of Blues. I was smiling. I was going to see my best friend!
