CHAPTER ONE
Sophie slightly opened her deep brown eyes and looked around the pitch black room. For a second she was confused. Where…where am I? She rubbed her eyes carefully looked around the room. She could faintly see the shape of a gorgeous girl sleeping next to her. She seemed to have tears in the corner of her eyes, but Sophie couldn't really tell.
As her eyes got more used to the small amount of light she could tell that the girl next to her was Biana. She could also see that she was in Biana's room. Then Sophie remembered why she was there. Sophie, Biana, Linh, Keefe, Dex, Fitz, and Tam had all decided to have a sleepover at Everglen. The boys were all in Fitz's room, snoring so loudly that Sophie couldn't go back to sleep. She scanned the room quickly and realized Linh was nowhere to be seen, just a messy pile of blankets right where she had been sleeping earlier.
Sophie got up and stumbled to the door. She could her soft footsteps from down the hall. She quietly opened the door and peered down the hallway. Linh was tiptoeing back to the room holding a small clear bag full of what looked like human candy. She looked up and saw Sophie staring at her. Her sliver-blue eyes widened and her face turned tomato red.
"Um… uh..hi Sophie," She whispered. "I was just uh..getting a…thing." Linh swiftly hid the bag behind her back and prayed Sophie hadn't seen it.
"Mhm.." Sophie said smirking. "You know I saw that, right?" Sophie said.
"Um uh uh…" Linh's face was super red now. "Um..saw uh..saw what?"
Sophie giggled. "The candy, and I want some".
"Uh..uh ...fine." Linh frowned and slowly took the bag from its hiding place and quietly opened it up. She handed it to Sophie. "You can have whatever one you want."
"Thanks Linh!" Sophie exclaimed. As she was unwrapping the treat Sophie heard a creak of a door and turned behind her. The door to Fitz's bedroom was slowly opening. She shoved the bag back at Linh and the both tried to run into Biana's bedroom, but it was too late. A very sleepy looking boy with beautiful ice blue eyes and very messy blonde hair stepped out and stared at them.
Keefe walked over to them and stared at the small strawberry Laffy Taffy in Sophie's hand.
"Is that..candy?" He asked staring at it longingly, like it was the last sugary sweet on Earth.
"Uh…maybe…" Sophie whispered. Keefe snatched it from Sophie's hand, unwrapped it, and popped it in his mouth. "Seriously Keefe! That was mi-"
"Thanks Sophie!" He leaned, so close that Sophie could feel his warm breath on her cheek. He quickly kissed her on the cheek "Cya later girls" he said as he walked back to Fitz's room, leaving a red faced Sophie and a squealing Linh behind.
