Disclaimer: I don't own Pretty Little Liars.

Author's note: I made my favorite alcoholic drink Aria's favorite in ths story because she's the one of the 4 PLL-girls that I like the most.

A friend is worth more than gold!

Aria and Hanna are 22 years old and today they are at the pub in Rosewood.

"What are you drinking?" says Hanna to Aria.

"Red wine from Italy." says Aria.

"I'm a classic whisky-chick myself." says Hanna. "1946. Awesome vintage, if you ask me."

"I don't drink much whisky. Last time I got one fuckin' head-breakin' hangover and I almost forgot my own name." says Aria.

"Whisky may not be good for the body, but I can't stay away from it." says Hanna.

"Two words, self-knowledge!" says Aria.

"Hey! I know how much alcohol my body can deal with and I can stop whenever I want to." says Hanna.

"Yeah, right..." says Aria with a smirk of irony.

"It's true..." says Hanna.

"I just wanna help you, Hanna. You're my best friend and I care about you." says Aria with a calm friendly voice.

"Thanks! Our friendship's important to me too." says Hanna with a smile.

"Too bad that Em and Spencer couldn't be here tonight..." says Aria.

"Spencer had to work and Emily's on a date." says Hanna.

"Next time we gotta make sure that we're all free. It was months since we could go out and have a drink as a group." says Aria.

"I miss that too!" says Hanna. "We don't get see each other that much anymore."

"Yeah! That's the downside of being older. Life's not the same anymore." says Aria.

"There's good things too. Parents can no longer tell us what do to. You and Ezra don't have to hide your relationship anymore." says Hanna.

"Yeah! Ezra and I went out for dinner last night. It's really nice to be able to go out in public without havin' to worry about what people are goin' to think." says Aria.

"The higher powers are on your side, Aria. Good for you!" says Hanna.

"And apparently, also good for you, Hanna! I understand you and Caleb are doin' great too." says Aria with a smile.

"True! I believe he wants to marry me..." says Hanna.

"If so, are you gonna say yes to him?" says Aria.

"Of course...as long as he's serious and love me for me." says Hanna.

"Yeah! Honesty and trust is important in a relationship." says Aria.

"I try to be open with Caleb." says Hanna.

"I do the same with Ezra. Secrets only make things worse. Nobody knows that better than me, you, Em and Spence." says Aria.

"Yeah! Thank God that we don't need to deal with 'A' anymore...!" says Hanna.

"Exactly! 'A' was a pain in the ass, big time." says Aria.

"True!" says Hanna.

"Have you been lookin' for a job?" says Aria.

"A little..." says Hanna. "I was thinkin' about something to do with fashion."

"I've been lookin' for a teaching-position, but so far no luck..." says Aria.

"Maybe Ezra could pull some strings and get you a job." says Hanna.

"I don't wanna use Ezra's influence in the academic world for that. I want to get me my own job without help from anyone." says Aria.

"You've always been an independent woman, Aria. I can see that you wanna do things on your own. I'm a lot like that too." says Hanna.

"Yeah, you are! One of the things we have in common..." says Aria.

"Perhaps that's why we're such good and close friends you and me..." says Hanna.

"Maybe..." says Aria. "It's sure possible!"

"You're a true friend, Aria!" says Hanna.

"So are you, Hanna!" says Aria. "The way I see it, friendship like the one you and me have is worth more than all the gold and money in the world."

"I agree! Friendship is a thing no money can buy." says Hanna.

"To friendship...?" says Aria.

"To friendship!" says Hanna.

The two women gently put their glasses together and look at each other with a smile.

Aria Montgomery and Hanna Marin know that they are going to be best friends forever.

The End.
