The Dark Knight Falls

A Play Written By: HFQ and KMS(with some help from DoctorHunter7)

*The curtain opens on Bruce Wayne in Bat costume sitting on the floor of the bat cave reading a book entitled "My Little Pony: Behind The Magic." To a young Dick Grayson.*

Bruce Wayne: "And as Applejack Flew over the clouds, she could see a tiny city laid out before her…"

Dick: "Um..Dad…Who are all those people out there staring at us? And Uh…how did they get in here?"

*Bruce looks up shocked and quickly hides behind the book, and begains to read again,this time more quickly.*

Bruce Wayne:"Uh…And as TwilightSparkleflewovertheva lleyshenoticedherfriendsdown belowanddecided.."

"Dick:"Uh…Dad?"

*Bruce quickly composes himself and shuts the book*

Bruce:Hi…Uh…I'm guessing your all here for uh…storytime…hehe…right?"

*Alfred unexpectedly opens the door and screams:

"If I may say so sir..um..how do I put this sir…NO THEY ARE NOT!"

*Alfred then slams the door shut*

Bruce:"ARE TOO!SHUT UP ALFRED!"

Dick:"Dad…."

Bruce:"Um..well,yes…so I'm guessing your wanting to hear the Most AMAZING STORY OF MY LIFE:"Batman:The Wonderful Life and Tragic death!"

*Bruce flings his arms out wide in excitement*

Dick:"Um.. Dad, I've heard it a million times!" *Dick begins to whine and lays down dramatically on the floor* "You even tell random people on the streets! At least 20 today!"

Bruce:"Aw…but it's such a good story…"

*Bruce begins to whine*

Dick:"New Story!New Story!New Story!"

Bruce:"But we don't have anymore…well,wait…there is one…but it is such a horrible story…it has a lot of blood and gore..and I'm afraid that if I read it to you, you will have nightmares for the rest of your life."

Dick:"It's not as worse as my nightmare already.." *rolls his eyes, crossing his arms* "Just read the (enter extremely bad words here) story!"

*Bruce looks at Dick, surprised*

Bruce: "I taught you well, son! Let's go on with the story then!"

*Bruce stands up and walks to the corner to a tall bookshelf. He picked up a book and traced his hands over it and sneezed from the dust. He blows it away and sits back in his rocking chair that magically appeared due to Alfred secretly being Dumbledore.. we'll continue that in another time.*

Bruce: "And it all began…"

*Scene slowly fades to black*
