It just rolled off her tongue like that. It was kind of shocking to hear since not even my own friends remember so, how the Hell does she remember. I've never even seen this girl before let alone talk to her except for this morning. I guess I looked how I felt. Confused.
"I see that you are questioning who I am and how I know this. Kenny, as lame as this sounds, I'm your guardian angel. As long as I'm here you're not suppose to die anymore."
"Dude… What the fuck are you talking about? Why would I deserve a guardian angel? Because, every time I die I get a lovely visit straight to Hell." Sarcasm was practically pouring out of my mouth when I said this.
"I felt you've suffered more that you should have. I figured you needed a different way to be… immortal like I said, you're fine with me around."
Now this part was defiantly unexpected. Aden walked closer to me and kissed me. I felt her part her lips as I pushed her up against the wall of the school. I let her tongue invade every inch of my mouth.
"Shit." Stan said eyes wide at the sight of us. Damn it, Stan. Aden broke off our kissing session and left before saying anything else.
"What the fuck Stan? Couldn't you see I was busy?" I angrily spat while stomping towards him.
"Yeah yeah you'll get over it, Kenny. The only reason I came out here is because I'm your ride and schools over so be thankful I'm letting you ride with me you ungrateful ass." I didn't expect him to be this upset. I guess I looked taken back because Stan apologized and we walked in silence to his red Toyota truck.
I step into the passenger seat and without even bothering to put my seat belt on I just lean my head against the window and start to wonder. It seemed like Aden was leaving something out when she was explaining that she was my guardian angel. I mean of all of the times why would I get an angle now? I'm sure when I was eight I was lot more pure and deserving of a guardian angel.
"What's wrong?" Stan asked. Taking his eyes momentarily off the road to look at me his brow furrowed.
"Nothing just tired." I reply while trying to fake a yawn. I guess Stan saw right through me because he offered to take me to Stark's pond. My favorite place in the Hell hole it's always so calm and a place I can go to when I feel like shutting out the rest of the world. I never knew how Stan figured that out though.
