Chapter 1

Queen Athena's Sister

Queen Athena who was King Triton's wife had a sister in another kingdom called Calibina. This is pretty far from Atlantica. Athena's sister's name is Luciancia who didn't look like her sister much at all. Luciancia had blonde hair and pink highlights in her hair, and a nice hot pink fin. Luciancia however has the power of love and knew when Triton and Athena met they were truly in love with one another. Luciancia found her true love as well his name was Regio. Regio has blonde hair and blue highlights in his hair and he has a blue fin. Regio was the prince of Calibina and he was going to be King one day since he was the only child. Regio had the power over the waves unlike how some normal humans think it was all King Triton in Atlantica. Regio and Luciancia kept in contact with her sister and brother-in-law in Atlantica. On this particular day they requested that they come and celebrate the birth of their child. They were allowed to bring all their kids if they would like.

That evening all the merpeople in the kingdom came to welcome the new princess. Queen Athena and King Triton made an appearance with their daughter Ariel who was about 6 at this time. Ariel told everyone that her sisters didn't want to come because they all would rather stay home then make the long trip to see their new cousin. Athena wasn't too happy that Ariel was telling everyone that her sister where just too lazy to come, because that was rude behavior of her sisters for thinking like that and rude that she was saying it. It was finally time for everyone to meet the new princess into the kingdom. The noticed something different with her when they held her up. Queen Luciancia said; while holding the merbaby, "Please bless Princess Cerencia our daughter and future queen of our kingdom with all of its purity and greatness of our kingdom."

"Amen," they all said.

"Luciancia, are you curious to why she doesn't look like you or your husband?" asked Athena.

"Usually I would, but she does have his eyes and she has my face. I know her hair and her fin is different, but you should know as well as I do that her powers will show greatness when her hair is of full color just like yours is. Well I know you don't like you power over soil since you never step foot on it, but you know very well your power is big."

"Yes I know, but I never needed to use it. What makes you think she would use hers and how do you know how to help her control it if we don't know what her power is?"

"I will do my best to teach her when the time comes. I know what you're thinking what type of power would a little mermaid have that has metallic blue hair and fin? Well I can tell you this much I don't know, but she will be one powerful mermaid that is for sure.

Ariel swam up to the new baby and gave her a kiss on the cheek. She was so surprised on how tiny she was and how long and beautiful her hair was. Ariel then went up to her mom and said that she wants a sister just like her or if she could come and visit her cousin every month and help out with her. Athena and Triton both looked at each other and knew that Ariel will be their last child. They told Ariel that it will be a long trip each month, but they will promise to keep in touch and find out how Cerencia is doing with being a princess. Ariel wasn't too keen on that, but she had to make due on what they said. Luciancia and Regio over heard Ariel and saw the disappointment on her face so they came over and told Ariel that they will try and come and visit with Cerencia when they can. Luciancia also told Ariel that she will personally invite her to Cerencia's birthday parties as well. Ariel looked a whole lot happier as did Athena and Triton.
