Chapter 1 running from the truth
Hermione's p.o.v
It was two months after the war. We had lost a lot of our loved ones and friends. Me harry, and ron all lost: ginny,luna,neville,fred,george,percy,bill,charlie, and mr. weasley, and many more. Their faces still haunted my memories. I witnessed all of their deaths including my parents deaths. They were torchered and killed right in front of me then I was torchered. I still have the mudblood scar on my right forearm. There were still rouge death eaters like bellatrix and her husband but we kept ourselves pretected. Me and ron started dating right after the war. I was at the front door of mine and rons house when I heard moaning coming from inside. I opened the door and my world came crashing down. There ron was on top of lavender brown. My eyes started watering when ron noticed me he got up and started walking to me.
''hermione this is not what you think it is'' ron said.
''shut up ron i've lost so much and you go and destroy one of the last lights at the end of my dark tunnel.'' I say with tears streaming down my face. I ran into my room I packed my stuff and headed to the front door.
''mione please don't do this to me'' ron pleaded.
'' to you? Your the one who cheated on mr. you did this to yourself.''i said. I then rushed out the door and apparated to harry's house. When I arrived herry was in the living room. He looked at me with confusion and worry.
''hermione whats wrong?'' he asked the worry plain in his voice. I went on to explain everything and by the end harry was seething mad.
''hermione what if we just leave?'' harry asked.
'' were would we go?''i asked.
''I heard of a small town called forks in washington. I think its pretty safe.'' he answered.
''then get packed and we will go there'' I said. We got packed and got enough money to last us forever. Then we said goodbye to our old life even though it would still haunt us and we apparated to forks.
Jasper's p.o.v
I was in the living room with the rest of my family and bella when my best friend alice gasped. I knew she was having one of her visions so I sat by her side until she was done. When she came back to reality she had a huge grin on her face and she squeled.
''what is it alice?''rosalie asked.
''we are finally gonna meet jaspers mate!''alice said while jumping up and down. I sat there in shock when carlisle asked something.
''whats her name alice?''he asked
''hermione granger.''
