Professor Moriarty

Authors note: I am new here, so please be nice and REVIEW!

My friend challenged me to a "write off" to get me into fanfiction. So here it is! Her story is called Caught in China! So go check her out!

While handing Watson a folded into fourths piece of paper as they stand on the edge of the plane's exit, Sherlock said, "Okay, Watson, on my signal the three of us are going to jump out of this plane and you and Irene are going to follow these directions."

"Might I ask again why we're sky diving into the Great Wall of China," Watson responded, "Couldn't it have been somewhere a bit softer? A grassy field perhaps."

"Jump now," Sherlock answered.

Irene, Sherlock and Watson jumped out of the plane and landed in the Great Wall of China, ten feet in front of Professor Moriarty with the clicker remote in hand.

"That's why," Irene replied.

"Follow the instructions," Sherlock commanded.

Irene and Watson ran off away from the Professor.

The Professor is still standing exactly where he was when they first appeared in front of him. Sherlock starts walking towards the Professor while saying, "Well, it's quite a coincidence to see you here, Professor. I'm surprised you didn't take Irene hostage when we ambushed you."

"I only used her to get to you," the Professor responded.

By this point, Sherlock is standing face to face with the Professor with only an inch between them.

"Ah, quite clever," Sherlock replied.

"That's why they call me the Professor," he snickered.

Sherlock put his hand on the other side of the clicker remote and attempted to snatch it from the Professor but the Professor tightened his grip and punched Sherlock on the side of the head with his other hand. Sherlock's head shook while his eyes were closed. After his head stopped shaking and his eyes opened, he replied, "Okay, I'll make a deal with you. I give you Irene back and you give me that clicker remote."

"I thought you cared for Irene," Moriarty responded.

With his hand still clasped on the clicker remote, Sherlock smirked while his witty comment unleashed, "Not as much as I care about saving the world."

Sherlock snatched the clicker remote from the Professor's now loosened grip and sprinted in the opposite direction. Eventually, Sherlock reached a spot in the ground with a circular trap door that was open. He glanced behind him seeing how far away Moriarty was. Then, he jumped in and landed in a giant apple tree.

"Nice to see you, Watson," Sherlock remarked.

"Let's go," Watson responded.

They all hopped down from the tree and began running down the apple orchard aisle. Meanwhile, the Professor landed in the apple tree searching for Sherlock. By the time he caught sight of Sherlock and his companions, they were so far ahead that he decided not to chase them and to get the clicker remote back some other way so he could enjoy a nice apple.

Once Sherlock, Watson and Irene stopped running Watson inquired, "And just how did you know that there was an underground apple orchard under the Great Wall of China?"

"I just knew," Sherlock answered.
