Welcome to reading one of my first published Naruto stories! Hopefully this will live up to others expectations.
Disclaimer: Naruto does not belong to me.
Her soft hands sprinkled down his chest, skin shuddering at her touch.
The room was dark and rain splattered the roof above them. Dust coated the floors, and cobwebs hung from the ceiling.
The two bodies splayed in between rumpled sheets, skin pale against the dark colors. Breath whispered across his neck, warming along his jaw. Sucking in a deep breath, he watched the questioning smile spread across her face.
She shouldn't trust him after so long; in fact…she should want to kill the man before her. But something deep inside of her resists, something deep inside of her wants what they shared before. Her longing stares following him out of the room, stinging remarks still echoing in the air.
But then again, part of her likes that now it's his longing stare.
Lips press against the cluster that is the cursed seal, softly. She is a flower, not wanting to be crushed by its own passion.
His hands grasp shoulders so pale against him as he flips them over, gazing into cerulean eyes. They seem to laugh at him, darkened with an emotion he cannot recall. She is small beneath him, rose hair splayed across the sheets, like the sunrise.
He sucks in a deep breath, images flashing through his mind. Scenes he's yearned three years to happen, so long ago.
The woman before him raises an eyebrow in sarcastic tones. He'd never remembered her like this, never in his life had he'd imagined her as a strong individual.
Returning here, he had expected her to follow after him, much like a dog hungry for company. But she hadn't and a part of him hated that.
That part of him still wanted the annoying teammate who loved him.
An impatient noise is heard from the woman beneath him, as her eyes narrow. Her knee comes up into scarred chest.
Sasuke clutches her knee between his hands, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.
"Don't be so quick to hurry. I've been waiting until you had some free time," he murmured, tone dark.
The woman before him sits up, closing the gap between their lips.
"I've been healing all the Konoha ninjas you damaged. Quite a return, something I expected out of you," she whispered, eyes flashing in the moonlight.
Sasuke rolled onyx eyes, that slowly bled into crimson. Sakura pushed the lithe body away, standing to travel around the room. Her finger trailed along the wooden wall, careful not to puncture the almost rotted wood.
"I can't imagine you living here. It's…dreary, but then again you were always depressing," she teased, sheet draped along her body.
He clasps his hands behind his head, studying her path around the room. She stops in front of the window, gazing out into the night sky.
Moonlight filters through, a ethereal glow upon her.
Sakura turns at his sigh, cocking her head at the smirk upon his face. Soft strands fall across her vision, a curtain of pink between her and Sasuke.
"I can see everything, might as well lose the sheet," he explained slowly, voice low. Sakura's brows furrow as she leans onto the sill not bothering to speak.
She turns quickly, hand going to wipe at her face.
"You know Sasuke, I…really missed you," she whispered, voice choked.
Thank you for reading! Sorry if the writing near the ending didn't sound similar. I wrote the end about a week later.
