"Hello there Nazz" Double-D said as he walked up to the table at which Nazz was sitting at.
"Hey Double-D. So how was your Christmas vacation?" Nazz asked.
"It was interesting. How about yours?" Double-D responded.
"Mine was awesome" Nazz replied as the two started to eat their lunches.
At the other end of the table, Ed and Eddy watched as one of their best friends was having lunch with the girl that they all liked.
"How did sockhead get a lunch date with Nazz?" Eddy asked as he took a bite out of his tuna sandwich.
"A sausage is just as good as it's casing, Eddy" Ed replied.
"Whatever. Let's have lunch" Eddy said as he turned away from his friend.
"So how's your arm?" Double-D asked.
"The doctor says I get the cast off this weekend" Nazz replied.
"That's good" Double-D said as the two finished their lunches and heard the bell ring to go to their next class.
"See ya Double-D" Nazz said.
"Good bye Nazz" Double-D yelled as he walked over to the math room.
"So sockhead? You coming over tonight for a little football?" Eddy asked.
"Sorry, Eddy. I can't come over tonight. I have a study session with Nazz tonight" Double-D replied.
"Say what? Since when did this happen? You never say no to football" Eddy argued.
"Nazz and I agreed to meet tonight for a study session at lunch today, so I have to decline your offer, Eddy" Double-D explained as he started to take notes. Eddy mumbled under his breath.
The class continued on like normal, then the final bell rang, signifying that it was the end of the day.
"So you're coming over tonight, right?" Eddy asked as he avoided Kevin.
"I already told you that I have a study session with Nazz tonight" Double-D replied.
"What is up with you two? Since the incident a couple of weeks ago, you have been all mushy gushy with her" Eddy announced.
"We're just friends and I saved her life after all" Double-D replied.
Eddy again mumbled under his breath.
Meanwhile, Kevin was having a conversation with Nazz.
"So Nazz, you want to come over to my place for dinner tonight? My dad's cooking up some steaks" Kevin offered.
"No thanks. I have a study session with Double-D tonight" Nazz replied.
"Why the heck have you been hanging out with that dork these past couple of weeks?" Kevin asked in an annoyed tone.
"He saved my life and least I can do is be his friend" Nazz replied.
"You like him, don't you?" Kevin asked with a disgusted look on his face.
"No, I don't" Nazz said in an unsure tone.
"You're on your own, Nazz. I'm going home on my own" Kevin said as he mounted on his bike and drove off.
Nazz sulked and walked toward the Cul-De-Sac to wait out the time she had until her study session that evening.
The evening arrived and Double-D was walking up to Nazz's door with all of his materials.
Nazz walked up to the door and answered it.
"Hey Double-D" Nazz said.
"Good evening, Nazz" Double-D said, "My. You look lovely this evening"
Nazz giggled at this comment.
"Thanks Double-D" Nazz responded as she led him up to her room.
Nobody knows what happened after that. Some say that the study session went on as usual. Others say that they got into a fight, but unknown to all of the Cul-De-Sac, a boy named King, of which I am, was outside Nazz's door waiting for Double-D and when he came out, his lips were covered in lipstick.
