Yo. Next one shot in the instalment of one shots that are leading up to my first real RWBY story. There is also something I want to say real quick. Sup. Onto the story.
Sun was screwed. Like drill bit screwed. "SSUUUUUUNNNNN!" Jumping at the loud shout, he hoped they didn't stop to ask where he we- "He went that way." "DAMN IT NEPTUNE!" He mentally screamed. It was hopeless now. He was going to die. All because he not only ate all of one Ruby Roses cookies, but strawberries as well.
Die was a bit of an exaggeration, and he knew that, and she new that. That didn't mean she wasn't going to hit him with her scythe though. "There you are!" sighing, he turned and faced his imminent doom, thinking back to the betrayal he had just minutes ago.
Flash back, 5 minutes ago:
Jaune and Sun never really got along to well. They talked sure, but they weren't "friends" by any stretch of the imagination. In Vacuo, pranks were a sign of attempted friendship. In Vale, it was just considered rude. So all Sun's pranks had led up to this little meeting. Yang and Jaune were across from him, a plate of cookies and bowl of strawberries separating them. '
"..."
"..."
"..."
"We grabbed them for you." Jaune said waving a hand over the food. "R-right." Sun said. "So, what's all this about?"
"Just a sign of friendship from Vale. Neptune told us about Vacuo's traditions, and we wanted to make it clear we were, ARE friends." Nodding at the logic and finishing up the food, his blood froze at the irate voice coming from behind him. "What the HECK! Who ate all my food? I went to the bathroom for like FIVE MINUTES!" Relieved that she didn't know it was him who ate her food, he decided to try and get out of there. "Well Neptune needed me for something, soooooo see ya!" he said calling the last half over his shoulder as he took off. "Seriously, who was it!?" "Sun!" they chorused behind him. "SHIT!" He mentally cursed.
Flash back end. "I can't believe he ratted me out!"
"Do you need something Ruby?"
"YEAH!"
"Well what is it?" Staring at each other blankly for a few seconds, Ruby said the strangest thing he thought he'd ever here. "Let me stroke your tail..." It was muttered, and her cheeks were tinted pink as she said it. But she defiantly said it. "Eh?"
"Don't make it weird! I've just... always wondered what a Faunes tail felt like..." she was looking at the ground now, and Sun had to bite back the remark about how he would've let her do it anyway. "Gotta get outa this some how..." turning around he stuck his tail out for her to take. "Ok."
"Ok?"
"Not really like I have a choice do I?" he chuckled. Rolling her eyes she gingerly took the monkey Faunes' tail into her hands. "Wow... Is it always this soft?" With a shit eating grin that she sadly couldn't see, he held his hand up to his chin in a thinking pose. "Hmmmmm. I guess it's usually like that, but sometimes if an attractive girl, or me stroke it the right way, or long enough it'll get hard."
"S-SUN!"
