Merlin had gone to fetch some water for Arthur, Gwen had quickly rushed passed him with her arms full of sheets and told him to have a look in one of the chambers as there was something odd in there. Curious he went in and had a look. He gazed onto the glowing dark blue police box. He circled the wooden, but curiously electric box and knocked on the front door. The Doctor was inside busy, messing with the helmic regulator. He heard the door knock. He had just dropped by for a refuel. Camelot was full of Rift energy. The Doctor rushed to the door and opened the door. He looked grumpy but then lit up when he saw who it was.

"Merlin" He exclaimed with a big gappy smile on his face

"Uh.." He stumbled as he saw the man and glimpsed inside of the blue box. "Sorry, I'll just, I'll just" He stuttered as he gestured to leave.

"Don't be ridiculous, Come in. Come in" He said ushering Merlin in. Merlin walked in and looked around he turned to the Doctor, smiling.

"You're a magician?"

"Kind of… I'm the Doctor"

"The Doctor? I'm Merlin, yeah. How did you know who I was?"

The Doctor gave a wryly smile. "Lucky guess"

"Right… I better get going Arthur needs his water" He smiled.

"Arthur, King Arthur?"

"Not yet… Just prince right now, but one day. Yes. I'm his manservant"

"Merlin a manservant? No. That's not right"

"What are you on about?"

"You are Merlin, The magician?"

Merlin stood back defensively, regardless of who this man was, however he had admitted to being a kind of magician.

"Yes…" He said quietly looking around him

"Fantastic" He exclaimed with his hands. "I've got the right one"

"What do you mean? You have the right one?"

"Well, I've bumped into a 'Merlin' before, turned out to be a Zygote from the 30th Century, don't know how it got there" He added confused. "Was not a pleasant experience"

"Zygote…." Merlin adds confused.

"Yes, big sucky thing with tentacles, now get over it" The Doctor replied, messing around with the TARDIS trying to fix it.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm trying to fix the TARDIS, she doesn't like being in Camelot. It's too low tech…"

Merlin approached the TARDIS console, putting the bucket of water down at the door. "What sort of magic is this?"

"It's technology" He pushed a final button and the TARDIS came to life.

"She's working" He gave a big a guppy smile at Merlin. Merlin replied with a snarky smile and a thumbs up, not sure of what was going on.

"Do you want to come?" The Doctor asked Merlin.

"Where?"

"Everywhere" He exclaimed using large hand gestures. "Through time and space" His eyes lit up.

Merlin considered this for a moment. "No, sorry I can't"

"Oooh Come on. One trip. Into the future, past anywhere…"

"No Sorry, Arthur needs me, as much as he denies it, he wouldn't even be able to get dressed without me"

"Okay, Well Goodbye then Merlin, absolute pleasure to meet you" He said putting his hand out. Merlin shook it smiling. "Goodbye Doctor" He said walking towards the door. "Remember Merlin, You will be a great magician, keep working. And you and Arthur and destined for great things" The Doctor said just as he walked out of the door. Merlin added under his breath. "Hmmm, funny a Dragon always tells me the same thing."
