Tummy Ache
Honey was shoveling cake into his mouth, making sure to scrape up every bit of the fluffy strawberry icing with his fork. Girls surrounded him, cooing and squealing as he kicked his little legs and smeared cake crumbs on his face. "He's so cute," they cried collectively.
"Takashi, hurry up," Honey said, waving to the tallest member of the host club. Mori looked at him and nodded. He had been helping Tamaki hang large, pink flowers on the walls and ceiling. The club had made them together out of tissue paper. Tamaki thought it would be a good "family" bonding activity. He had gotten the idea from Haruhi, a commoners practice known as arts and crafts. Honey loved the pretend flowers. They were round, cute, and the same color as Usa-chan.
Honey turned his attention back to the girls. "It's ok; you ladies can keep me company while I wait for Takashi to finish up," Honey said, a huge smile on his face.
"Of course Honey," one girl said.
"We love spending time with you," another said. "We really missed you yesterday."
Honey had stayed home the day before, sick with the stomach flu. He hated having tummy troubles; it meant he couldn't go to the host club and he couldn't eat any sweets. He spent most of the day snuggled up in bed, Usa-chan tucked next to him. Mori had come to visit him and sat by him while he napped, softly caressing his blonde hair. Honey awoke the next morning feeling much better and resumed his normal routine.
"Honey," one girl said, "maybe you shouldn't eat so much cake today. You're just getting over the stomach flu, your body needs to rest. I don't want you to upset your tummy."
"Don't worry, I feel fine," he said taking another bite of cake.
After helping himself to a third a slice, Honey's stomach began to feel funny. Sharp pains shot through his little gut. He grabbed his belly, scrunching his face and moaning.
Mori quickly noticed Honey's distressed state. He strode briskly over to Honey, scooping him up in his arms. He sat down, placing the moaning Honey on his lap. Honey snuggled into Mori's chest. "You need to be more careful Mitsukuni," Mori gently chided. "You have to take it easy after your sick. You cannot eat so many sweets; otherwise you'll upset your tummy."
"I'm sorry Takashi," Honey said, his bottom lip trembling.
Mori tenderly ran his fingers through Honey's hair, using his other hand to rub little circles on his tummy. The entire club had gathered around the two to watch the lovely scene, the girls wide eyed as they screamed "MOE!"
