I know for a fact that many of us TMNT writers have often thought of the possibility of the turtles being "Real". But why hasn't anyone seen them?

Not necessarily. First, they stick to the shadows while fighting, and second, they fade away right after that! During what circumstances can you see them revealing themselves?

Anyways! My theory is that they DID, somehow get transformed into humans and are now living among us as citizens. And some of them I even think are TMNT authors on this very site and probably many other fanfic sites. So in conclusion I have one thing to say: Watch what you write about them, who knows where they are!
