AN hey guys, so this is a all new story idea and sorry to say but the main character is a OC. I feel oc's are more effective since you don't have to follow a set character they can just develops as the story continues. Anyway without further a dew I present to you a mask of smiles...

I slowly stood up, I was so tired I couldn't make out a tree from a car. To be fair since I live in a forest I took a random guess that it was a tree since you don't get a lot of cars driving through the forest.

As my senses intensified, I realised I was right and it was a tree. As I am a werewolf I have very heightened senses, I was exploring the forest when I was a kid when I was attacked by wolves, not any wolves but werewolves. After a while I blacked out, only to awaken God knows how long after. I had decided to try and find my way home, but on my way home I had started shifting into a wolf then back into a human; I knew something weird had happened but was smart and stayed in the forest until I could get the shape shifting under control. Once I had done this I began getting weird senses like I could hear things that took about ten minutes of walking in its direction to find like traffic. I had decided against ever retuning home due to fear.

I suspect my folks think I finally snapped and ran away, since when I lived with my family I was always having uncontrollable fits of anger. It was a serious condition yet they seemed to fear me. If they found out I was now more of what they said 'a freak' they would never accept me. They thought I couldn't hear them whispering.

I had been living in the forest for about a year now, It was hard to count. I had been living off rabbits but was only Able to eat them in my wolf form.

I shifted between forms often due to boredom, I loved my wolf form whenever I was a wolf I felt strong, brave but most of all free. At first I was in complete denial of being a werewolf but slowly realised I was not dreaming. Even when I was in my human form, my wolf eyes remained they were a light yellow with different shades of hazel dabbed into the yellow.

I was often questioned about it when I left the forest due to complete boredom. The reactions varied from double takes to out and out staring.

Most days I would just shift twice for hunting morning and evening for food, and the rest of the day I would sleep. And that's exactly what I had planned for today also.

Once I got back from my morning hunting, I began to munch down on my juicy rabbit. I was on could 9, that was the best rabbit I had ever tasted. That's when I heard it, my ears flicked forward to tune the sound.

"Why do I have to be the one stapling Stans posters onto trees?!"

It was a human boy, I quickly licked the blood from my lips and shifted into my human form. Everything but my eyes changed dramatically, my paws exchanged for arms and legs, my fur exchanged for skin except my hair stayed the same jet black as my fur, my snout exchanged for a stumpy nose. I was wearing a short black dress, leggings underneath, long black knee boots and a long black velvet cloak over my dress with a hood.

The voice got closer, with my hearing range dulled by my human form I could say he was about 20 ft away.

"Seriously, why can't Mabel do it?!"

The boy sounded about my age, I didn't know exactly how old I was since I didn't know the date but when I was bit around a year ago it was a month after my 11th birthday so I guessed i was 12. He sounded irritated, I did my best to look lost by widening my eyes and quicker my blinking to look almost surprised.

I heard footsteps behind me, i swivelled around to see a boy, he was wearing a orange shirt with a dark blue vest on over it he also had on some beige shorts and to top the outfit off he was wearing a hat with a blue pine tree on it.

He turned around to face me, our eyes locked. It was clear he was surprised by my appearance since his eyes widened when he saw my eyes.

"Oh my god, your eyes!"

He yelled, I just sighed. Pulling my hood over my head as I turned on my heel to leave.

"I-i'm sorry!"

He yelled, I stopped walking away but didn't turn back around. I couldn't say I wasn't offended by his reaction. I heard footsteps getting closer and tensed up. Seeing this he backed away from me. I couldn't take the awkwardness anymore, I turned around and sighed yet again and pulled down my hood. I looked around only to see he was carrying some 'mystery shack' posters.

"I'm Dipper"

He said clearly still unnerved by my eyes, I could tell in his voice that he was nervous.

"Cassanova, Call me cassie."

I blankly replied, I can't remember the last time I had a real conversation so I wasn't exactly a expert in what to say to him.

"Okay, Cassie. I'm sorry about my reaction I just haven't ever seen that eye colour before."

He explained, I wasn't the only werewolf out there for sure. But I had never met one before well not after the night of the attack.

"It's fine, I get that a lot."

Well that was half true, I only get that whenever I went out which was barely ever but when I did people couldn't help but stare. Dipper looked me up and down, I felt awkward under his stare.

"Hey look, to apologise about earlier I want to get you to come back to The Mystery Shack you can choose anything from the gift shop and have it for free!"

He was sure kind, but then again it could be a trick. I agreed and followed him through a endless maze of trees.

Dippers POV

Cassie was a very odd character , first there was here eyes they were a very bright yellow. I've never seen anyone with eyes like that. Secondly she kept lifting her chin in the air whenever I took a sept towards her, almost as if she was taking a snif to try and get a scent but that probably wasn't it. Thirdly I couldn't shake this feeling that something was going on, but I decided to ignore it.

As we were walking I realised she was looking down at the floor, she looked really upset. I was hit by a feeling of guilt, but something told me it wasn't about what I said earlier. I wasn't sure if she wanted to talk about it so I just changed the subject.

"We're nearly there."

I said in the most cheerful voice I could muster. Cassie just looked up at me and smiled.

"So what were you doing out in the woods?"

She had obviously not expected me to ask this because when I did she looked really surprised.

"Oh, Um I was um going for a walk."

As I looked away from her I realised we were here.
