Buffy/Angel and Hawaii Five-0 Crossover: Ino Hawai'i Ho'omahana (Evil Hawaiian Vacation)
by: DragonGirl201
Disclaimers and Author Notes: Hawaii Five-0 does not belong to me. I'm not sure who they belong to, but they don't belong to me. I'm doing this for fun and to get the characters to stop talking to me. I will put them back when I'm done. Maybe a little worse for ware, but they will not be complaining. ;-) Any Buffy or Angel character that you recognize does not belong to me, but belong to Joss Wheadon, Mutant Enemy, and who ever else owns Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel the Series. MacKenzie Creations is my mom and she gave me permission to use her Buffy/Angel re-write With Arms Wide Open as a back story for Buffy and Angel. This is just a *possible* future in that re-write series. Angel in this story has received an award. It is not Shanshu, but he can go out in the sun. No, he does not have the Gem of Amara, but after drinking just a drop of Buffy's blood, for the next twenty-four hours, it is just like he had the Gem of Amara. Just like my mom, thoughts are in italics, when thoughts are surrounded by quotation marks, Buffy and Angel are using their bond to talk telepathically. Angelus' thoughts are underlined.

Note from MacKenzie Creations: Dragongirl201 is my 14 year old daughter. This is her first fanfiction to be shared with anyone but me and it was a school assignment. Part of that assignment was to post it. We appreciate CONSTRUCTIVE CRITIZIM—comments that will help us to learn and improve. Negative comments that will not help us to learn and/or improve AKA flames, will be ignored. I hope that you enjoy the first chapter. (She has to write and post at least a chapter a week until the story comes to a natural end. At this point we don't know how many chapters there will be.)
Chapter 1: The Gifts
Steve and Catherine were sitting on the couch watching TV when the door bell rang. Catherine got up and answered the door.
"Delivery for Catherine Rollins," announced a young man in a brown uniform.
"Thanks," Catherine replied as she signed for the small package.
In the shadows, a man in his late twenties watched as she closed the door and walked in front of the window. She opened the package and pulled out a diamond bracelet and he could hear the conversation inside as well as see the joy on the woman's face.
"Thank you, Steve, it's beautiful."
"What's beautiful?"
"The bracelet, silly."
"I didn't buy a bracelet."
Catherine's expression turned from joy to confusion, "Then who did?"
Steve looked at it and then looked at the box it came in and said, "Maybe your dad."
"You're probably right," Catherine said as she picked up the phone to call her dad.
"Hello?" Said an older man.
"Hey Dad!" Catherine said hoping that he was the one who sent the bracelet.
"Hey, Katie! How are you?" The older man said as he was hoping that Steve had popped the question.
"I'm doing good. And thanks for the bracelet," Catherine thanked her dad.
"Katie, what are you talking about?" Catherine's dad asked.
"The diamond bracelet that was in a small box."
"I didn't send you a bracelet, Katie."
"If neither Steve nor you did then who?"
"I don't know maybe a guy who has a crush on you and you don't know it."
"Probably. But why send such and expensive gift?"
"He might want you to think that he is rich."
"Yeah you might just be right."
"Well got to go bye, Katie. I love you!"
"I love you to, Dad. Bye," Catherine said as she hung up the phone.
"So was it him?" Steve asked as Catherine put her phone down.
"No. But why would someone send me something like this?" Catherine asked as the bracelet stared to creep her out.
"Maybe because they like you," Steve said.
Buffy threw a vampire off her as she grabbed her stake when Angel said, "Muirnín, need a stake!"
"Angel, here!" Buffy yelled out to her husband as she staked the vampire she was fighting and tossed Angel her stake.
"Thanks, Muirnín," Angel replied when he caught the stake and staked the vampire he was fighting.
Buffy and Angel then turned around headed to their Beach house on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.
"Danny, do you know who gave Catherine a diamond bracelet?" Steve asked Danny when they were driving to work.
"No, why are you asking?" Danny asked.
"Because someone sent her a diamond bracelet and it wasn't me nor her dad and there was no name or anything to see were it came from," Steve explained to Danny why he asked.
"Check the return address," Danny said.
"There was no return address," Steve told Danny.
"There has to be a return address."
"There was no return address, Danny."
"I'm so glad that we have some alone time just you and me no one else but us," Buffy said when Angel was making some pancakes.
"Same here, Muirnín," Angel told her as he flipped the pancake he was making for Buffy.
"Oh pancakes!" Buffy said when she saw her husband making pancakes.
Angel just smiled at his wife's comment and said, "Yes, Muirnín, I'm making pancakes."
Steve and Catherine were trying to find out who sent her the diamond bracelet when there was a knock on the door at Catherine's house. "I have a package for Catherine Rollins," said a mailman dressed in white and blue.
"Thank you," Catherine said as she signed the paper work she need to sign.
"Steve, did you send me a fancy watch?" Catherine asked hoping that he did.
"No, maybe that guy that sent you the bracelet did," Steve said.
"Probably, but why?" Catherine said as she sat down.
Again a the same man is in the shadows watching Catherine.
Buffy hit a vampire's face and he vamped out and then tried to eat her but he failed due to Angel dusting him. "Thanks, honey." Buffy thanked her husband and they kissed as Steve and Danny watched.
"What was that?" Danny said braking up the kiss.
"Uhhh. Me kissing my husband?" Buffy tried to play the dumb blond.
"No not that. The guy with the deformed face that you were fighting and that just turned to dust? Did he just turn to dust?" Danny asked.
"Yeah, he just turned to dust," Steve confirmed that he saw what his partner saw.
"Want the truth or sane answer?" Buffy asked the two strangers.
"Truth," Steve demanded and showed her his badge.
"Sane answer," Danny said.
"Well the sane answer is a trick of light, it was dark and we couldn't see very well, or he was hoped up on PCP." Buffy said before Angel could say anything.
"And the truth?" Steve said.
"You might think we are crazy if we tell you," Angel said .
"Truth," Steve demanded.
"He was a vampire," Angelus told the two cops as he fought for control. He held Buffy's hand as he used their bond, "Well now they know."
"He did say that he wanted the truth." Buffy thought.
"Vampires are not real," Danny stated.
Just then Angelus vamp out and was laughing in his head and smiling at the same time. "Really?" Buffy thought as her mate vamp out.
"Well he did say that vampires don't exist and I exist. So, I showed him that vamps do exist." Angelus told his mate though their bond.
Just then a three year old yelled out, "I broke the universe!"
"Please tell me that was sarcastic." Buffy said right as Angel got back in control.
"I hope so. I couldn't tell I mean with three year olds they would think they did do something that someone told them they did."
"What do you mean?" Steve asked.
"The world I live in that it could happen." Buffy said.
"Grace is not going to be outside after dark anymore when she is with me." Danny said.
"I think that's a good idea," Buffy said. Then she asked, "Who's Grace."
"Grace is my daughter."
"Don't invite in anyone after dark either. Vamps can't go into a private residence without an invitation," Angel informed them.
"Who are you?" Steve asked.
"I'm Buffy MacKenzie and this is my husband Angel MacKenzie."
"And you just go around killing vampires?"
"It's my job."
"Oh you get paid to do this?"
Buffy smiled and said, "No. I'm The Slayer. I was born with the skill and strength to fight the vampires and demons that walk the earth. I wasn't given a choice. If I want this world to be safe, then I have to do my duty."
"You're not the only one anymore," Angel reminded her.
"I know, but I can't just sit by and let evil roam around now can I?"
"No, you can't."
"OK I'm confused here," Danny said. He pointed Buffy and said, "You have a duty to slay vampires and yet, you married him and he's a vampire."
Buffy smiled, "He has a soul."
"A soul? And that makes him good? Cause I gotta tell you, I deal with people on a daily basis that have souls and they still go around killing people,"
"Angel's soul makes him good. Spike's soul makes him good and Druscillia's soul makes her good. They are the only three vampires with souls. The soul gives them the predisposition to make good choices. Without the soul, they just follow their instincts which is to destroy humankind. The soul acts as a conscience. Without the soul, no guilty feelings when they murder someone."
"So, how did Angel and the other two you mentioned get a soul and how do you tell if a vampire has a soul or not?" Steve asked.
"Angel, Dru, and Spike got their souls by an ancient Romain spell and they are the only three vampires with souls and the spell will not be used again. Angel received his soul as a punishment, to make him feel guilty for a hunedred and fifty years of torturing, maiming, and murdering humans. Dru received her soul, because my best friend found the spell that was used on Angel and was going to try it out on Spike, but Dru was about kill someone so she used it on Dru instead. Spike chose the soul over a chip that was in head."
"Chip?"
"Put there by the Initiative?" Steve asked.
"You know about the Initiative?" Buffy asked.
"I heard rumors when I was in the Navy, but I didn't believe them until now."
"So, you fight vampires all by yourself?"
"Well, Angel is my watcher, and I have friends that help as well."
"What is a watcher?"
"A watcher trains a slayer, helps with research when research is required to stop evil, and prepares her to face battle. And did I just sound like Giles?"
Angel laughed and said, "A little bit."
"Who is Giles?"
"Giles was my second watcher, after a vampire killed my first watcher. Giles is now head of the Watcher's council. Each slayer has her own watcher, fighter, and majikal watcher on her team to help her out."
"Come with us, and we will explain everything," Angel said.
They went to the MacKenzie beach house.
Buffy offered them something to eat or drink and the two five-0 partners took her up on the offer of sodas.
They sat down on the couch and Angel and Buffy explained about the many slayers around the world and how sometimes they have to use majik to fight evil. They also told them that there are some civilians who want to help fight. This helps them keep track of the demon and vampire hunters by letting them work with the slayers and the slayers can help to minimize their casualties. They promised that before they left, they would introduce them to the slayer on the island and her team.
