Said Alice to the Rabbit:
"Are you broken?"

Said the Rabbit to Alice:
"I don't know whether or not I am broken;
I am just a figment of your imagination."

Said Alice to the Rabbit:
"I don't have an imagination."

Said the Cat to Alice:
"Of course, you do.
Only mad people have an imagination."

Said Alice to the Cat:
"But I'm not mad!
How can I be mad?
What is there to be mad at?"

Said the Hatter to Alice:
"There's all sorts of things to be mad at.
But you have to be mad to be mad at them."

Said the Caterpillar to Alice:
"In other words [smokes pipe],
you, Alice, are mad."

Said Alice to the Caterpillar:
"But I'm simply not mad!
And I don't have an imagination!
I am sane!"

Said the Cat to Alice:
"In a sane world, only the sane are sane.
But in a mad world, only the mad are sane."

Said Alice to the Cat:
"Which world am I in, then?
The sane world, or the mad world?"

Said the Hatter to Alice:
"Oh, the sane world, of course.
We are all sane here, right?"

Said Alice to the Hatter:
"I don't know.
The sane world is sane.
And the mad world is also sane.
So which one am I in?"

Said the Cat to Alice:
"If you are mad, you are sane.
If you are sane, you are mad."

Said the Rabbit to the Cat:
"Don't let her imagination run off, now."

Said Alice to no one:
"I don't have an imagination!"

The Rabbit and the Hatter laughed.
The Cat grinned.
And the Caterpillar smoked his pipe.

Alice screamed in frustration.
