Needless to say, the Hogwarts students were not very surprised when they heard a rumor about another ghost joining Hogwart's premises.

All except for Hermione, that is.

"What? There's another ghost joining Hogwarts? That absolutely can not be true!"

Ron set down his box of chocolate frogs and nodded at her with wide eyes.

"It is true, Hermione! It's called the Singing Ghost!"

Hermione stared at Ron with a perplexed look while she stroked Crookshanks who was witting on her lap.

"The Singing Ghost?"

Ron grinned, pleased by the fact that he knows something that the brainy Hermione did not.

"Yeah. The Singing Ghost. Every night, the ghost goes up to the girls lavatory, the one old Moaning Myrtle is in, and sings. And it's voice is beautiful! It is said even the toughest of monsters will sway under it's song!"

Hermione snorted and stood up, ignoring Crookshanks annoyed mews.

"Prove it!"

"What?"

"Prove that it's true!"

Ron glared at her.

"Fine. Tonight I'll go with you to the girls lavatory. Then you'll hear the ghost's singing!"

Hermione flipped her hair.

"Fine!"

Ron grinned.

"I can't wait to finally prove you wrong on something."

"You won't!"

The floor creaked for the seventh time as Ron and Hermione slowly made their way across the hallway towards the girls lavatory.

"This is pointless!"

"It's not!"

"Yes it is! The ghost doesn't exist!"

"It does!"

"Even Harry didn't want to come, he knows it's pointless!"

"Nah, the expression on his face says that he's more likely hiding something."

"Whatever!"

The two suddenly stopped bickering as they suddenly heard a ghostly, pure, smooth singing voice echo in the hallway.

Ron turned to glare at Hermione.

"SEE? IT'S TRUE!"

Hermione glared back at him.

"Whatever."

She turned to walk closer towards the entrance of the lavatory.

"Wow, the ghost really is good."

Ron nervously tugged on his robe.

"Hermione...I don't think we should get any closer."

"Nonsense! I won't to see the ghost! Now come on!"

Ron sighed with defeat and ran to catch up with Hermione until they were both standing in front of the doors to the lavatory, where the singing lay.

"Hermione, are you sure you want to do this?"

"Yes Ronald! Stop being a coward!"

And with that, Hermione pushed open the doors, revealing the source of the singing.

"HARRY?" They both yelled at the same time.

"Hey guys! I was just practicing my singing! The "Britain's got Talent" crew said I was good so I should try out! And Moaning Myrtle's helping me!"

He points upward, revealing Moaning Myrtle.

"Yes...before I died, I did like singing."

Harry grinned.

"Did you know that Moaning Myrtle won the American Idol? She's really good!"

Moaning Myrtle blushed shyly.

"Would you like to hear?"

Ron and Hermione exchanged a look, and on an unspoken agreement, they ran out of the door at once.

And for once, Hermione didn't brag about how she was right.

Because she was too terrified.

Watching Harry the Singing Ghost and Moaning Myrtle bond together over singing was something she had never expected to see.

Thus, the rumor of the beautiful Singing Ghost came to an end.

"Hey Hermione! There's a new ghost at Hogwarts!"

Hermione turned to stare at Harry.

"What is it this time? A Poetry ghost, perhaps?" She scoffed sarcastically.

"No. Close, but this time it's a Rapping ghost! There's an amazing rapping ghost, who practices at night with the bloody baron!"

Hermione snickered.

"What did Ron say about this?"

"I don't know! He looked like he was hiding something, and every night he disappears at the same time as the Rapping Ghost! It's really weird!"

Hermione groaned loudly and slouched down onto the couch.

Oh no.
