I was watching the last episode of Dark Angel:"Freak nation" And decided to write a (missing) scene. Alec/Max.

"Please tell me that he is not the baby daddy" OC said as Mole walked past them.

Gem shook her head "He was another X-5, we were breeding partners"

"That sounds really romantic"

"It wasn't"

Max looked down at the two of them, she had never experienced that, she was really grateful she had gotten Alec as her breeding partner, once she had told him she didn't want to do it(and had kicked him in the stomach) he backed off and later helped her escape.

"Hey Max?" OC asked and Max looked down at her friend with a questionable look on her face.

"Didn't you have a breeding partner back at Manticore?"

Max shook her head "Or I did, but we never-"

"Who was he?" Gem asked, even though she was in the middle of labor she was still curious.

Max took deep breath and turned her head and saw Alec talking to CeCe. "Alec"

"Wait, hold on there girl" OC said "Alec was your-"

"Yeah" Max said "Look I gotta go help-"She wasn't able to finish her sentence before Alec was standing behind her.

"Somebody said my name?" He asked and OC looked from Max who gave her a "don't" look so she just shrugged her shoulders.

"You know Max, it's not very nice to talk about someone behind their backs" Alec said with his usual cocky attitude.

"I don't think I should get an attitude lecture from you"

"Why not?" OC asked, thinking that he'd tried something on her girl back at Manticore, off course she should have known that if that was true, things would have been a lot different between the two of them.

"Because he's not really trustworthy and kind of arrogant"

"Ouch, that hurt" Alec said and looked over at Original Cindy "Hey, what's up with you? Looks like you've seen a ghost"

"She didn't know that you and Alec were breeding partners" Gem cut in, holding onto her stomach. "What? We got bigger things on our hands than your little history so I just got it out in the open"

"That's what all this is about?" Alec asked.

"Look, I know my girl wouldn't have let some boy come along and knock her up, but thanks anyway" OC said and Alec smiled, like he had been waiting for that thank you. He had never gotten it from Max so.

"No problem" he said and Max gave him a look that said "Yes, thank you" as well.

"Besides" Alec said and took a step back "She's not really my type, I usually go for the attractive kind" he said with a joking grin on his face.

"If you don't back off I'm gonna punch you in your bullet wound!" Max said, but then Max phone rang, showing Logan's name on the display.

"You guys ready?" She asked and looked around as her people nodded.

"Showtime" she whispered.

Short, I know. But I just wanted to make a scene about what a nice guy Alec really is, he's kind of misunderstood.
