Hermione Granger felt like shit, to say the least. Bellatrix Lestrange just finished another torture session with her. She missed Harry and Ron. A least she'd be visited by the kind Death Eater that always stopped by to heal her a bit. He, Hermione knew the person was a he, always wore dragon-hide gloves, and his death eater mask, hiding his identity rather well, which frustrated Hermione to no end. She had to know who was helping her. Each time, he would cast healing spell after healing spell, muttering just low enough so Hermione couldn't identify his voice.
Draco set out to the dungeons of his family's manor, where prisoners were held. He took it upon himself to help them, because he thought it unfair that they suffer any more than necessary. Ha. Some Death Eater he was. He ditched the mask today, finding it an unnecessary hassle to go and fetch it. He went cell by cell, casting healing charms and spells on those who needed them. Then he got to Hermione's cell. God, she shouldn't be here. After all, Potter and Weasley were set loose. Of course, they weren't considered mudbloods. According to the Dark Lord, mudbloods were absolute filth. Draco did, for quite a while, for he was raised with such ideals being supported, but now... It had gone too far in Draco's opinion. He didn't want to see anyone hurt, not now. But there was no stopping the Dark Lord. Not now. Probably not ever. Draco had to find some way to sneak Hermione out.
Draco sneaked into Hermione's cell. She was conscious, and she'd recognize his face. Damn it. Why didn't Draco fetch his mask?!
Hermione looked up, and immediately identified Malfoy. Before she could even attempt sitting, Malfoy pointed his wand at her, casting a healing charm as he knelt beside her. He whispered, "I'm going to get you out and back with Potter and Weasley first chance I get. I swear, Hermione, I will get you out." Hermione nearly didn't believe him. Malfoy, well, Draco, she supposed, really had matured.
Draco left, telling Hermione that he'd return when the coast was clear, and that she ought to get some rest.

Draco returned at midnight, and Hermione was awake, so, without making a single noise, Draco sneaked her out of the dungeons, and to a secret room, where apparation was safe, and untraceable. They apparated to Bill and Fleur's place, and Hermione was safe once more.
Hermione smiled, thanking him for being so kind to help her, and kissed him.
