"You want a kiss, Kix?"

The medic of the 501st nearly dropped the bacta pack he was holding as he whipped around to stare at the woman standing in the doorway.

"Do I want a what?," he asked, perplexed.

"A kiss," Samantha said simply as she walked in,"A small, sweet little treat for you."

She hopped up easily on the counter and stilled. He had a feeling that she was watching him expectantly and once again driving him nuts that he couldn't see her eyes. No matter what outfit she wore, there was always one covering her up. Well, not in formal outfits he had seen her wear, but she did make it so that she had something covering half of her face so that the only thing seen was her lips. Kix had a feeling even under the hoods they'd be seen. They were such a dark red for humans, as well as her skin tone, it was mind boggling to him.

What was even more mind boggling was her offer. A kiss? Where did that come from? She'd never shown an interest in him...unless she kept it to herself. She was very good at that, being psych and all.

She stilled for a moment before her lips curled into a very large smile.

"Kix, you do know what I'm talking about when I say a kiss, don't you?"

He blinked at her,"Ehm...I thought I did...until you asked."

She tried to hide the smile as it grew behind her lips, but it proved impossible for the psych.

"Chocolate kisses, Kix. Little treats made of chocolate."

Kix stared at her, dumbfounded, for only a moment before his whole face abruptly turned bright red and started laughing at the same time. Samantha trembled with her own contained laughs and smack a hand across her mouth to help.

"I'm so sorry," she snorted,"That was completely my fault! I didn't know-"

"It's fine," Kix thought, knowing she'd be listening,"I don't mind. You can laugh."

"No," she said, still trembling as the medic leaned against the table and raised an eyebrow,"That would be rude!"

"No it won't," he said, smiling,"It was an honest mistake and you heard me laughing at it."

She tried a little longer to keep her mirth to herself. It was a valiant attempt, but Kix knew she wouldn't last long when her hands came up to her cheeks. He was right. The dam broke with little giggles before building into her quiet laughter soon after. She was never loud. Not really a quiet one either, she kept her volume at a nice medium level

"So," he said casually when she paused for a moment,"where's that kiss you promised?"

She went into another round of laughter.
