First Mentalist fanfic, I just got bored I can do better

Patrick Jane sat in his office thinking about the lovely Teresa Lisbon, he had not meant to fall in love again but he never knew she would come into his life. Since his wife and daughter had died he kept away from women, romantically of course but he just couldn't not fall for her she was beautiful. He could finally admit it, he loved Teresa Lisbon.
Of course when have things ever gone right in his life, she had met a man and fallen in love with him. She was getting married it was too late, but was it really?
Two weeks before the wedding...
"Jane I don't have time for all your crap so would you make this quick." Lisbon told him as she walked into her office him following closely behind.
"I love you." Those 3 words made Lisbon freeze. "I know I shouldn't say anything because you're getting married in two weeks but I can't control my feelings."
"Jane, what gives you the right to tell me this two weeks before I get married! You should have told me the minute you realised because it's too late, I'm with somebody else." She opened the door to get him out of her office but he slammed it shut
"If you can honestly tell me you don't have feeling for me I'll walk out this door and leave you alone."
"I-I... can't because I love you but I also love Mike but I mean I've loved you always an-" She was cut off by Jane's lips crashing down on hers.
A few seconds later she pulled away looked into his eyes and pulled him into a loving embrace.
"I'm never letting you go." Jane told her.
And he never did, they had a daughter called Lily after his wife. Rigsby and Van Pelt had gotten together and had twins boys called Jack and Will. Cho had gotten married but never had kids. Jack and Lily were going out and got married later on in their life.
