Yugi was a very bad swimmer.
In fact, he didn't know how to swim at all!. He always kept it a secret. The only person he told was Yami, because he trusted his Mou Hitori. That all changed, come one day at the beach on a aturday.
"P-Please, Chikao. I...I'm sorry!" Yugi said.
"Well, sorry won't erase you bumping my arm in the hall yesterday, spilling my books onto the floor, will it?!" Chikao exclaimed.
"No..." Yugi said in a small voice.
"Hope you can swim, Muto!" Chikao said, shoving Yugi off the small cliff into the water*.
"AIBOU!" Yami cried, jumping off after him**. Yugi entered the water first. His body sunk towards the bottom. Yami entered the water. He was looking around for Yugi. He finally found him, getting close to the bottom. Yami extended his arms and swam faster, trying to reach his aibou!. Yami was able to finally grab Yugi's hand. He pulled Yugi towards him, and wrapped his free hand around Yugi. His other hand held Yugi's head towards him. Yami swam towards the surface.
*on the beach*
Yami laied Yugi on one of the gang's towels. He searched his aibou for a pulse. He found it, but it was extremely weak! Yami started forcing down in Yugi's chest, to get rid of the water inside. Realizing that it wasn't going to work, Yami started doing mouth to mouth. Yami stopped once Yugi's pulse was back to normal. He gently picked Yugi up and placed him on one of their beach chairs. Anzu immediately moved the umbrella, so Yugi was under it. Yami placed a towel on top of Yugi.
*A few hours later*
The gang was getting into the van. Yami sat in the back already, holding Yugi, due to the fact that the Hikari still hadn't come to, yet. Yugi's head was on Yami's lap.
"Chikao's going to pay on Monday. Yami growled
"Yami. It'll be alright." Joey said, getting in the seat in front of them.
"Joey. I can't let this blow over." Yami said. He couldn't blow Yugi's secret. He wanted his aibou to be able to fully trust him.
"You're right. Don't worry about a thing. Karma will get him back, for sure!" Tristan said, getting in the driver's seat. Anzu got in next to Joey.
Halfway home, Yugi finally came to.
"M-Mou Hitori...? Where am I?" Yugi asked.
"Aibou! Thank Ra, you're okay. We decided to head home after a while. Don't move. I don't want you to get dizzy or anything." Yami said.
"You didn't tell them...Right?" Yugi asked. Yami shook his head. "Arigato" Yugi said. Yami kised his cheek.
His aibou was okay. And that's all he cared about.
