Hyenas are 2 inches taller, 15 pounds bulkier, and have bite forces 3x one of a wolf. Not to mention if they were to attack as groups, the hyena would win. Wolf packs can get up to about 30 members, while a hyena clan can get up to 80 members. Either way the hyena would win.
