I've been wanting to write something for TF:A, but I haven't been able to think of anything. So I started thinking about Jazz, about Sentinel and his actions towards Sari. I think Jazz is a cool enough cat to stand up to Sentinel on Sari's behalf. If it's OOC, Lemme know before I right something again. Enjoy!!

Disclaimer: I own nothing.

"Hey, little organic-" Jazz started, but Sari stomped her foot impatiently. Jazz and Ultra Magnus, the only two who consented to even acknowledge her presence as anything more than just a nuisance, had learned this meant she wanted them to stop something.

"Stop calling me that! My name is Sari Sumdac! Not 'Little Organic', Not 'Pest' and not 'Fleshling'!!" she said, close to tears. Prowl, who'd been entering to join Jazz to meditate, stopped.

"Who's been calling you that, Sari?" Prowl asked, kneeling to her level.

"Sentinel Prime." she sniffled. Jazz, at least, had learned making the little girl cry was something that upset Optimus and the other's greatly. And what upset them, usually, if at all, ended up in large amounts of pain and in Ratchet's medbay, which was torture unto it's self. And now, for some reason, it was upsetting him too. A wave of cold washed over Jazz's processor.

"Why don't you join Jazz and I in our meditations? It might help you feel better." Prowl said gently. Sari wiped at her eyes and nodded a little more brightly.

"You two go ahead and start without me, I got somethin' to take care of." Jazz said, flashed a short smile and walked out.

--Two Hours Later, Autobot Ship--

"Sentinel Prime! My office, now!" Jazz barked through his intercomm as he walked into his office. Sentinel may have the rank of Prime, but Jazz out ranked him in military standings and in senority.

"What is it?" Sentinel demanded. Jazz tapped the rank insignia on his shoulder. "Sir." Sentinel ground out. Jazz leaned back in his chair.

"I see you've been acting hostily towards the human child that is currently staying with Optimus and his team. I'd like to know why." Jazz said. Sentinel reached for a chair. "Remain standing." Jazz snapped.

"Sir, my previous experiences with Organics..." he trailed off as Jazz raised a hand.

"Does not count here. From what I understand from Optimus Prime, what you encountered were giant spiders, the human child obviously isn't. Since we will be leaving this planet soon, I cannot force you to change you're ways towards the child. But from here on out, no matter what, you are to be at least civil to Sari and you are to call her by her given name. Unless of course you wish to be building space bridges." Jazz said. Normally, malice had no place in Jazz's tones, but now it dripped it.

"Understood, sir. Am I dismissed?" he asked, dental plates grinding. Jazz waited a full 60 seconds, a minute, to wave his hand in dismissal.

"And Sentinel," Jazz said as the door opened. "Don't ever let me hear anything about you bad mouthing Sari from her again." Jazz said coldly. Sentinel ripped off a salute and stalked out. Jazz smiled, actually enjoying his little lecture.

--An Hour Later--

"What took you so long?" Prowl asked with a half-smile as he and Sari stood up.

"I thought I told ya to start without me?" Jazz said, smiling a little.

"We wanted to wait for you!" Sari said brightly. Jazz's smile widened to a full grin.

"Well, thank ya for that, Lil' lady. Let's get started." he said, sat down, crossed his legs and both he and Prowl helped Sari get into the mood of it.
