I've been in love with the song since I first heard it so I decided to make a story with it. I changed some of the lyrics to fit this story though… Enjoy!

"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me. I was once lost, but now I'm found. Was blind, but now I see." The words flowed out of his mouth like water in a river, creating a smooth and calming tune. The song was one of his favourite songs. Amazing grace, a song of forgiveness. He thought as he sang.

"Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come… This grace that brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home…" He remembered the time when he had been lost at sea back in his pirate days. He had been afraid that they would be lost forever. But he kept praying and somehow, they managed to return safely.

"When we've been there, those years ago, bright, shining like the sun, we've got no chance to go back now, back to those shining days…" Tears welled up in his eyes as he remembered the times that America was still his brother. His cute little brother, who had sworn to protect him because he was the hero. His cute little brother, who had promised to stay with him forever. His little brother, who had brought him to war to gain his independence.

"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me. I was once lost, but now I'm found. Was blind but now I see." He sighed as he finished the song. He then wiped off his tears before finishing his tea.

"Grace led me home to you…" His eyes widened as he turned to the door.

"A…me…ri..ca…" He was speechless from shock as questions raced through his mind. Why is America here in his house? Why is he crying? Did he hear me just now?

"I'm sorry, England. I didn't know that I've hurt you so much. I actually came here to bother you but ended up listening to you sing." America walked to him and hugged him.

"I'm really sorry." As things finally registered in England's brain, he returned the hug, burying his face in America's shoulders, trying to hide his tears.

"I forgive you, you git."
