Heartbreaker
Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter and I make no money from this fanfiction.
AN: This is a sort of companion to my other HP fic 'Unrequited' but you don't have to have read it for this to make sense.
Harry had been in his first year of Hogwarts when he had discovered that he enjoyed breaking rules. Before that he had always had to do what the Dursleys said. He'd started breaking rules because it was necessary but he soon came to realisation that he got a thrill out of the flagrant disregard for the laws of Hogwarts and general wizarding society.
It was the need to push his luck further that sent him into the arms of Draco Malfoy. It was forbidden- not by any formal rule of law but by society. He knew that if his friends found out that they'd treat him like a criminal. He liked that.
He wasn't as careful as he could be, there had to be risk or else what was the point?
He didn't love Draco but he loved the feeling that being with him gave him. He knew Draco loved him though, it was so painfully obvious. Good boys weren't supposed to break hearts.
He tried to tell himself he didn't feel guilty for using him like this, he was the enemy after all.
One didn't feel sorry for the enemy. It was a rule.
Just another one he broke.
